Congratulations on your new business! We're sure you will be a success.

But there are many pitfalls in opening a new restaurant, and we want to offer our assistance in one of the overlooked areas of cost control: Breakage.

Yes, breakage is a fact of life for the restaurateur. Count up the broken plates and cups, and you'll soon see what we mean.

Even if you are blessed with a competent staff, these things happen. And if your staff is, well, on the other side, you can see how quickly a profit can turn into a loss.

But our patented brand of melamine dinnerware gives you an extra edge; it's almost impossible to break — unless your wait staff drives bulldozers, of course! ha-ha — and will give long, useful service.

Our prices are quite reasonable, and all our merchandise comes with a lifetime guarantee. Can we send you a catalog?

Whatever we can do to help is our pleasure. References are available on request.

Good luck

Glad you got that out of your system, Sherrie.

Yes, I've been there.

I've found a way to deal with it ... Click your heels together three times and say "There's no place like the coffee shop; there's no place like the coffee shop ..."

Wait. That's a different thread.

Well, Sherrie, I'd rather be hanging out here, too.

BTW, Sherrie, are you still up??
I fixed the clock thingy here and wow, it's late!
What am I doing still up is probably a better question, though.

Wisdom Seeker, I have so many relatives all over that area. Victorville is actually the place where my grandparents lived. I went to kindergarten there. They had a house that was made of railroad ties that is now a museum.

Well, I am going to take a deep breath and actually turn this computer off and go to bed.
Good Night everyone!

Yeah, I am here.

But I think I am going to do the same. Go read my Bible for awhile. Write in my Journal, and sleep.

See you tomorrow.

Ya'll stayed up too late last night! It is 6:00 AM and I'm sittin' here all alone! Oh well, I'm charging a DDP this morning Sherrie since no one is here to run the register. Besides, I spent all my money on fishin' gear.

I am going to go bake a cake for my grandson's birthday. I will report in tonight just so everyone will know I didn't fall in!

Morning Jon!

I am taking my grandson to a 'fishing derby' this morning since Grandpa has to work! Stephen has never fished before and I haven't for over 20 years....it ought to be quite an experience.

How are you this morning? It is supposed to be partly cloudy and 70 here today so we will get muddy, but maybe not sunburnt. What is your weather doing over there?

We have just about every kind of fresh water fish as opposed to brackish or salt water.

For the kids fishing derby, the pond was stocked with Catfish. The worst kind to take off the hook because the barbs stick you! Good eating though!

Well, I'm off to bake that cake. See you later.

Have a great day!

Jon, could you please send some of your Presbyterian weather over here? While storms have blanketed much of Oklahoma, we've had only a trace and it's as dry as a first-time preacher's throat. For the year, rainfall is 8 inches below normal.
