What else would you call them, Revmitchell - BENEFICIARIES?

I would call them parties to a bilateral contract in which they agreed to provide labor in return for financial compensation.

The employer in such a contract is free to terminate the relationship when it no longer suits his needs (so long as it is in accordance with the contract) just as the employee is free to terminate the relationship with his employer when it no longer suits his needs.

I would agree that to freely enter into such an agreement and then complaining about it would constitute whining.

That would be one way to describe them. Another way to describe them is that they represent households that no longer have disposable income to put back into the economy.

I hadn't seen you post in a while. I forgot you are incapable of any discussion with conservatives that doesn't lead to Hannity or Limbaugh said that. God Bless

Are you ready to be pursued relentlessly for the answer to an inane question that should not have been posed in the first place? :BangHead:

Such pursuits are not impressive.

Frankly, I don't understand the title of this post "The company you keep......"

unless its meant to be a disparaging remark against a candidate.

Oh, but that right!

People don't study the facts or the voting record or the stability or life experiences or the values of the candidates. People pick their set of friends and then follow the group....... like the title suggests, or attribute to the candidate the false representations of others..... whether its 'good' or 'bad'.

Obama and McCain have folks campaigning for them and we are just plain stupid and distracted if we concern ourselves with everything these people say without listening to the candidates: We'll hear enough garbage and lies if we just listen to what they say and compare it with what they've done:

I don't know you, Revmitchell, and perhaps I am under the incorrect assumption that you possess a basic understanding of the concept of debate. Typically, one can more effectively persuade others by actually referencing the topic of discussion, rather than introducing a completely unrelated subject in the form of some perceived answer.

Well, let's examine the questions you have asked thus far:

Post #4 of this discussion:
So now people who are layed off are victims?

Answer: Um, yes. Again, what else would you call them?

Post #11 of this discussion:
Since Obama kept company with a racist and someone who hates America what do we cal him? Since Obama as known terrorist associates what to we call him?

Answer: What? I never once mentioned Obama in this discussion. As a matter of fact, Obama is not mentioned in posts 1-10. How is it that you will call someone out when they veer off topic, yet resort to the very same thing in this discussion. This is an attempt at misdirection - start asking questions about an unrelated topic in an attempt to avoid answering questions dealing with the topic at hand.

As a matter of fact, you responded to BaptistBeliever about being off topic, didn't you?

Here's the statement you made:

Off topic.

Now, if you are going to continue posting in this discussion, perhaps you could cease with the juvenile contumely, exhibit some maturity, and actually post something that actually pertains to the discussion.

I really am embarrassed for you, Revmitchell,

My point is simply that McCain is surrounded by people like Gramm. Again, a great deal can be ascertained by the company you keep.......

For you, of all the people on the board, to make a statement like this, is absolutely laughable. As usual, what you post says more about you than it does about anyone else.......

It is amazing how you continuously assign your behavior on others. You should be embarrassed for your self. You show up here every once in a while and the majority of your posts you make are sarcastic digs at either me or Carpo. Really you need to just get over yourself.

Hooked again?

Grow up. Ask better and more pertinent questions.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch... :wavey:

 <--- This is me laughing at you.

If this question is not pertinent, then why in the world are you continually posting in this discussion?

Again, what you posted says more about you than it does about me.....

To usurp Sean Hannity (and I am sure you don't listen to him, do you?), you simply cannot compete in the arena of ideas.

Don't flatter yourself. I don't even know what your question was.

But I know you and your tactics. That's enough.

Now, on to more interestiing company.:wavey:

I am constantly amazed at the magnitude of the hot air generated by some who seemingly have no concept of following a logical discussion; preferring instead to repeatedly toss tid-bits of pesonal opinion as "facts" into the mix!!!:rolleyes:

This comment got him canned

John McCain sharply broke from an economic adviser who dubbed the United States "a nation of whiners" in a "mental recession" as the Republican presidential candidate sought to counter criticism that he's weak on the economy.

Interesting....

but what begs the question why would anyone hire someone who was executive producer of a porn movie and was involved with the Enron scancal? but no he gets canned because of an insult to Americans in an a elitist manner.

Phil Grahams IMDB page http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1109307/

McCain should thank the Lord that the Lord found a way for this elitist to slip up he would have been long gone if I had found out about the Porn Movie business.

The fact that this contumely is coming from you makes it all the more hysterically funny. Again, carpro: you cannot compete in the arena of ideas. You have proven that in yet another discussion thread. Unlike you, I will note when I am usurping an idea or statement from someone else, so that is a quote I borrowed from Sean Hannity. Of course, I am sure you don't listen to him, do you?

Remember: do as we say, not as we do....

This isn't the first time there has been an issue with one of McCain's camp. Again, we can learn alot by the company one keeps....
