Typically, one can more effectively persuade others by actually referencing the topic of discussion, rather than introducing a completely unrelated subject in the form of some perceived answer.

What? I never once mentioned Obama in this discussion. As a matter of fact, Obama is not mentioned in posts 1-10. How is it that you will call someone out when they veer off topic, yet resort to the very same thing in this discussion.
