the only nudity referred to is children playing in the water, and one brief 9yo. None of which was remotely sexual or inappropriate in context.
Is there not the slightest chance that the nude child would cause some to stumble? After all, there are pedophiles in the world. Scenes like that feed those spirits. And yes, there are some even in the churches, recent news proves that.
Not if it was in proper context, for example, a bunch of kids in the bathtub or something of that nature.
These were not in a bathdub from what I hear. True, some were swimming and the dark hid them somewhat, but they were nude just the same.
There is nothing anywhere to suggest that the "nudity" oon this movie is inappropriate at all.
Refer to the 16 instances in Leviticus that say, 'Thou shalt not uncover...'
Only a pervert with a dirty mind would make an issue of this.
I am sure since God clothed Adam and Eve, and since the book of Leviticus speaks against uncovering another's nudity no less than 16 times, God would make an issue of it as well.
There is also the part in the film where the Waodani woman looks into Steve's pants to see that he is a boy. You don't think that is dirty? It is uncovering someone's nakedness.
As to the adult nudity, I did not say the adults were totally nude, I said partial nudity. Again, many who have seen the movie have attested to this.
Also, in the movie, the Waodani men wear nothing but loincloths in many scenes. That can cause a homosexual and/or women to lust as well.
Of course, to the liberals, there is no problem at all.
