The ever-changing definition of racism

Used to be, racism was treating people different based on their race. MLK wanted people judged based on character content rather than skin color.

But now, the new definition of racism is disagreeing and challenging someone of a different race. "How dare you disagree with these woman of color! You're a racist!" Nancy Pelosi found this out firsthand.

The other is telling America haters they should leave America. "How dare you tell this antisemitic, terrorist affirming, America-hater to leave. You're a racist!"

Funny how things change.

Racism: A state of being entered into when one rejects a Progressive Global major or even minor tenet.

I might be able to offer some insight. The definition of racism the left uses is based on privilege theory, the idea that racism equals privilege + power, rather than prejudice. (Which I am not in agreement with.)

I have white sheets on my bed, wear white clothing, and drive a white car. I'd bet that according to their new definition I must be a racist.

Yeah, we went through that with Obama. He was considered to be black so if we disagreed with his political policies it was because we were just racists.

And check on this new poll:

Poll: A Third Of Democrats Believe It’s Racist To Criticize Politicians Of Color

A new poll suggests that nearly one third of Democrats believe white politicians who criticize politicians of color are racist.

Rasmussen conducted the survey with 1,000 registered voters between July 15-16th. The survey found that 32% of Democrats agree that it is racist for any white politician to criticize the political views of politician of color.

More correctly, for Progressives "racist" equals "white," or anyone they deem an enemy, to which they automatically attribute privilege and power.

Self-loathing, virtue-signaling whites foolishly imagine themselves exempt, but they are OK only as useful idiots. Cross the line and, like Pelosi, they get the label.

Non-"whites" who cross the line lose their underprivileged status and become "white," or "White Supremacists," like Candace Owens.

In short, Progressives use the term "racist" as an easy, effective way to demonize their enemies.

Its similar to the term/phrase "Heretic" during the Inquisition.

There is no worse thing you can be whether you be or not be.

If the Grand Inquisitor pronounces you a RACIST you forfeit your soul and are consigned to the Lake of Fire.

Acts 17:26 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 “so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

Therefore it is of the nature of sin to consider people of different colour or country as of a different race.

A dictionary definition -
1. A group of people identified as distinct from other groups because of supposed
physical or genetic traits shared by the group.
Most biologists and anthropologists do not recognize race as a biologically valid
classification, in part because there is more genetic variation within groups than between them.
2. A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history,
nationality, or geographic distribution: the Celtic race.
3. A genealogical line; a lineage.
4. Humans considered as a group.

Forms of racism are seen in the Indian caste system & every successful invasion of a country. The various invasions of Britain forced Britons, Saxons, English into inferior status dominated by the invaders, & ultimately the Norman conquest that created the present royalty & nobility lording it above the common people. Resistance is denounced as "terrorism." The British conquest of Australia was particularly viciously racist in that the indigenous population was hunted as sub-human, & their children were kidnapped. placed in institutions & brought up as "white" & estranged from their culture.

You folk can see the racism in the dispossession of the native Americans, aka "Indians" throughout North & South America. You have been rather slow in recognising the black former slave population as human beings with full rights & freedom to marry whites. Black soldiers who had married white girls during their service in WW2 suffered on their return to the "land of the free." I believe there was a move to elect Paul Robeson as Vice President, but McCarthy got in first.

Your post ignores the point being made. You really need to study this further first.

And actually, as indicated in your Acts passage, it was by God's design, as far back as the Tower of Babel, that mankind was thus separated and scattered, as sinfully united they are particularly prone to oppose him as one.

The biblical pattern and world history are clear. Wicked men uniting outside of Christ enables powerful antichrists.

It is through Christ alone, not politics, that God desires to unite us to himself and each other. It is only in Christ that there is neither male nor female, Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free (see Galatians 3:28).

How many white Senators & Congress have spoken up as the 4 ladies in question?
Unfortunately, a great many, because many others are equally dark in their aims to undermine America and its Christian underpinnings. Their comments are, at the core, as anti-American and supremely racist as they can be.

And BTW, if you are "white," they apply to you as well, even if you aren't American, but you evidently haven't grasped the reality of it yet. You seem to have skipped the related posts on "white" virtue signalling.

America isn't perfect, but it is the best country in which to be black or any other race. The richest, most successful woman in America is Oprah Winfrey. White people elected a black president twice to presidency. Black people are among the most successful athletes, entertainers, actors in our country. Black people are free to be doctors in the most prestigious hospitals, they can aspire to be officers in the military at the highest levels of the military. They can be politicians, own businesses, be CEOs, they can teach in the most prestigious colleges in America.

So we don't need any lectures from across the pond, especially from those living in a country that has bowed the knee in submission to radical Islamic terrorism.

The stiff British upper lip has been exchanged for a limp wrist.

Cast your mind back 70 years to the McCarthy era, when one of the richest, most successful entertainers was accused of being "unAmerican" & had his passport confiscated, & theatres were closed to him. His records were withdrawn from sale. There were attempts on his life by tampering with his car. He was told to go to Russia.

To quote from the HUAC hearing -
Because my father was a slave, and my people died to build this country, and I am going to stay here, and have a part of it just like you. And no Fascist-minded people will drive me from it. Is that clear? I am for peace with the Soviet Union, and I am for peace with China, and I am not for peace or friendship with the Fascist Franco, and I am not for peace with Fascist Nazi Germans. I am for peace with decent people.
As a rich & successful negro he determined to use his fame to help the cause of his people. That ended his career.

While it may be true that "Black people are free to be doctors in the most prestigious hospitals, they can aspire to be officers in the military at the highest levels of the military. They can be politicians, own businesses, be CEOs, they can teach in the most prestigious colleges in America." Is it true for the poor blacks in the ghettos? Or only for the rich blacks who concentrate on career rather than civil rights for others?

Because those 4 ladies all voted TWICE against bills from both the Senate AND the House to send aid to the border. They don't care about the children at the border. And their refusal to vote for aid to the children proves it.

Separation of children is a regular procedure in law enforcement. If a parent commits a DUI offense on the road, and they have a child in the car, they will be separated from the child and the adult will go to jail. Any time an adult commits a crime in the US, they are separated from their children while in jail/prison.

Furthermore, those conditions at the border are the way they are because those 4 ladies and the rest of the Democrats refuse to pass meaningful legislation to change the immigration laws at the border. In our government the House of Representatives holds the purse. They have the money and decide what to fund and what not to fund. All laws are first introduced a bills in the House of Representatives. They send the bill to be voted on by the Senate and if passed in both chambers, the president signs them into law.

Trump doesn't make law. The House and Senate are the legislature, they make the laws. They could change everything about the border, but they refuse to do so.

Trump has been asking for months for $$$ for the border, for the House and Senate to pass bills to change the laws at the border. But the House denied there was a problem at the border. Nancy Pelosi rejected any facts that supported any claim of a crisis. Finally they had to admit there was crisis, but refused to fund anything that would send help to the border because they refuse to help Trump. They are the "resistance" as they call themselves. So, even if there was a crisis, helping the border meant helping Trump. Then they called it a manufactured crisis, that Trump created, until the facts came out that this has been a problem for longer than Trump has been in office.

Even now, they still refuse to change the laws at the border, and continue to blame Trump for every problem at the border, and for the awful conditions in the detention centers. But those conditions got that way because they were busy denying that there was problem in the first place, and their continued denials only allowed the problem to get to deplorable the state it is in now. So, if you want to blame someone, blame Congress. They alone, have the power to change the conditions.

Those women don't care about the children or the border. They hate America and have stated so on more than one occasion. That is what Trump is calling attention to. AOC calls those detention centers "concentration camps" which was meant to be inflammatory and it is also untrue. It is all a pack of lies. Those detention centers were only meant to house about 100 people and they are having to house hundreds more over their capacity. So, it is no wonder that the conditions are deplorable. But Congress could change it, but they don't want to help Trump, so they refuse to pass the laws needed to improve the conditions at the border.

As I stated previously, America isn't perfect and I can't defend everything that has happened, but your exceptions to the rule, don't negate the rule. We are still the best country to in which to be black or whatever race.

The reason we have rich blacks is because they got up and went to school and put out the work and effort it takes to be wealthy and successful. No one is stopping any black person from being the best they can be in any field of endeavor. If they are willing to work hard, they can be anything they set their mind to be.

This entire post is a waste of time. These four ladies are part of the problem, they helped create the problem, they don’t want the problem to go away......they want it to get worse. You fall for it hook, line, & sinker.
Yeah, rich Dr.Ben Carson must be one of those elite blacks that you speak of, tell us about his background in Detroit. And we wonder why we can’t come together as a nation?! Well, I don’t wonder as it’s pretty apparent right here on the BB.
Had to edit about coming together as a nation since you’re not from this country. Seems your nation has enough of their own problems that could use your sage advice. Thanks.

The word "racism" has evolved alright, and deliberately.

“He who controls the language controls the masses”. –Saul Alinsky .

Those four "women of color" (a racist phrase in its own right) are crying racism, of course - they think they are above reproach, since they're "women of color". Too bad for them free speech in America goes both ways.

BTW, our government has always separated children from criminal parents. We have a foster care system for just that purpose. I've adopted 4 children through this system of various ethnic backgrounds after the courts determined the parents would not be fit to parent any longer. (we also helped many parents reconcile and reunite with their kids).

But now there's this push that no matter what, children should never been separated from the supposed parents they illegally crossed the border with. Even though we know for a fact some of these aren't even their real parents, but traffickers.

We would never take this chance with American law-breakers.
