The GOP’s economic agenda for women

As I have said, during my adult years I was a registered Republican longer than a Democrat. But when the GOP came out with the Southern Strategy and developed into the party of the special interest of the rich at the expense of everyone else I changed.
Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that.

The GOP seems to especially not like women during our current era, much less people of color or legal aliens.

Translation: CTB is worried about the elections this fall!

p.s. I am ignoring knee jerk, nonsense replies where the person is simply parroting lines and not replying with a thoughtful answer.
CTB is an expert at knee jerk nonsense posts and replies and parroting the leftist talking points. Perhaps he is a lonely man and needs attention.

He probably has his fingers crossed. Actually I'm having a real problem taking CTB seriously.

I had thought he was more to the center, boy was I ever wrong, this guy's a flaming liberal, spewing false accusations, racism charges, and all...

Waiting for you to tell us which policies, and how they will hurt the poor, and what specifically the dems have to counter them.

Yup. Wait until he lectures you about how Christ wants us to treat others.

But the policies the GOP pushes for will make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Do you support such policies?

All I know for sure, first hand, is that I graduated high school under the Carter administration, had trouble getting a permanent job, finally did by late '78. It took 3 years of saving before I could pay cash for a new car, then with Reagan and CD's and IRA's, the 80's were a saving and investing bonanza for me, while I got my degree while working fulltime over 9 years.

If I went from poor to poorer under 3 successive Republican administrations, and 2 more later, that's bigger news to me than Putin being Elvis with plastic surgery.

I am discussing the current policies of the GOP, not the past.

That is right. They are much more in favor of the rich at the expense of the poor now.

How do tax cuts for everyone harm the poor?
Or
How do tax cuts for the rich harm the poor?
Or
How do lower capital gains tax rates harm the poor?

Exactly which GOP policies that favor the rich have an adverse effect on the poor? How?
