...is getting his clock cleaned.

Really fed up with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Ever since he's been speaker , he has funded everything democrats want. Might as well have a democrat majority with him as weak kneed Speaker. He has no guts at all. Just another big spending republican.

If Trump signs the Omnibus budget, he will help defeat everything he promised voters. In spite of his bragging and mouthy tweets, he will show himself to be every bit as weak as Ryan. And he said he would sign it.

Trump will be a one term president if he doesn't start fighting the agenda of the left...like he promised. With no one to fight for it and against the destructive policies of the left, this country is going straight down the toilet.

Thoroughly disgusted and downhearted.:(

Trump may have elected a Democrat House with this stupid budget bill and will be responsible for his own impeachment for political reasons. If the GOP is lying to me, why should I vote for them?

It's simply awful and Trump indicates he will sign this sham of a bill:

Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump 22h22 hours ago
Got $1.6 Billion to start Wall on Southern Border, rest will be forthcoming. Most importantly, got $700 Billion to rebuild our Military, $716 Billion next year...most ever. Had to waste money on Dem giveaways in order to take care of military pay increase and new equipment.

no, it bars it:

The amounts designated in subsection (a)(2) through (a)(4) shall only be available for operationally effective designs deployed as of the date of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017, (Public Law 115–31), such as currently deployed steel bollard designs, that prioritize agent safety

“I think one of the reasons they rushed it through they didn’t want their colleagues to see what was in the bill.” - Nancy Pelosi

“In a certain sense we were able to accomplish more in the minority than we had the presidency or were even in the majority.” - Chuck Schumer

Trump had better veto this and let the government shut down tomorrow and let those chips fall where they may, else his support will go kaput.

He won't. It's a done deal.

One term Donald with impeachment coming in 2019.

Hey, we got the Supreme Court nominee and the tax cut bill. That's all we get. Isn't that enough? No wall. No deportation of illegals. No repeal of ObamaCare. What do you expect when you control all three branches of government?

He made a poor choice in Pence. The guy has no clout on the Hill and no clout with the Donald in my opinion. The smart guy in Indiana politics is former Governor Mitch Daniels, who has a bad divorce record and is stuck as President of Purdue University. Let's see how Todd Rokita does in the Indiana Senate primary this May.

Who he's really stuck with is a weak Mitch McConnell and RINO Paul Ryan, 2 accomodators and enablers of the left. Establishment pros. Deal makers. Losers.

Yes, if the Dems regain control of the House this fall.

With all the RINOs in the House, democrats may not need to take the House to begin impeachment. He would be the first president in history to be impeached for the high crime of getting elected.

McConnell and his wife have gotten rich, some of it from Chinese contracts going to their family members. Trump made a mistake when he appointed McConnell's wife to the cabinet because she has inside information to pass to her husband. Paul Ryan probably has a safe seat in Wisconsin. Every time Trump speaks, Ryan contradicts him in public. Ryan will never be anything more than he is now--a nut.

well, at least the Republicans slipped in a refusal to fund ACORN, a community development organization that no longer exists. They have no idea what they're doing.

NOT SO. The Marxists still have the power of "veto" by filibuster or 60% vote.

Blue State Blues: Republicans Are at Bat, but Democrats Score the Runs | Breitbart

Mulvaney suggested that the only way for Republicans to achieve what they want is to change the rules of the Senate — something that President Donald Trump wants to do, but which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will not, and for good reason: Democrats would eagerly abuse that power at the first chance. Alternatively, Republicans could win 60 Senate seats at the polls — not impossible, but looking harder than it did a year ago.

All of that misses the point. Republicans do not need total control of the Senate to achieve better outcomes in budget negotiations. They simply need backbone, and stronger leadership.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Trump just played fools.

I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.

Make no mistake, the President is in control.

Trump ‘Considering’ Veto

Cites Lack of Wall, and… Lack of DACA Amnesty??

President Donald Trump announced on Twitter on Friday that he was considering a veto of the omnibus spending bill.
