The movie list missed The Cowboys.

Some personal comments on the TV series:
1 - Watched "Gunsmoke", "Bonanza", and "The Big Valley" when I was a kid.
2 - Also, watched "Laredo" as a kid(loved Neville Brand's character) and started watching it on a cable channel a while back and still have a bunch recorded(until that channel stopped showing it) that I haven't watched yet.
2 - Watched "Walker, Texas Ranger" back in the 1990s.
3 - Been watching a few of "The Virginian" over the past couple of years and might watch a lot more eventually.
4 - I am currently watching the "The Rifleman" on the Roku Channel and getting late into the second season.
5 - Watched all of the "Laramie" episodes over the past couple of years. Loved it.
6 - Been watching a few of "Cheyenne" over the past couple of years and would like to watch more of it eventually.
7 - Watched as many episodes of "Lawman" as I could over the past couple of years until the channel I was watching it on dropped it. I really, really like it. I think Peggie Castle is as beautiful of a woman as I have ever seen. Really sad how her life ended.
8 - I have watched a few episodes of "Tales of Wells Fargo" over the past couple of years. I like it.
9 - I watched all of the episodes of "Trackdown" about 3 or 4 years ago. Loved it.
10 - I was watching "Tombstone Territory" on the Roku Channel until recently when they dropped it. So I ordered all 91 episodes from Amazon at a good price and my order is due to be delivered today.

I have heard about "Blazing Saddles" through the years but I have never watched it. Should I, @tyndale1946?

But from a literary perspective I do recommend the movie. It is perhaps the most important film in the English language.
Kinda like America's version of Les Misérables.

Okay. I had to go at least see the start of it. I starting laughing as soon as I heard the start of "I Get a Kick Out of You". I stopped watching with "What in the wide, wide world of sports is a-going on here?" since I can't watch it all right now. I will try to watch it this week. I can't tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Well Ken on the serious side, there was another horse movie I saw that I recommend... Base on a real event that happened in 1908, A real horse race, Cowboy style!... Called "Bite The Bullet"... Filmed in 1975!... Time to get your Cowboy on

I watched a little bit of that a few months ago on the Starz Encore Channel.

First, Bad Day At Black Rock is a great movie, but NOT a western. Neither is Treasure Of Sierra Madre.
Second, The Wild Bunch is a good movie, but I'm just not a Peckinpah fan. I can think of several I'd put before it.
Third, The Searchers should be #1 and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance should be much higher. So should Tombstone.
Fourth, really disappointed Fastest Gun Alive isn't on the list. Glenn Ford, who normally isn't a very compelling actor, gives a great performance.
