I believe the Jewish ideas were popular. But Jesus taught Amillennialism directly. Paul and Peter spoke of the present reign with Christ in heaven of all believers. If we are his body, we are seated with him on David's Throne. You would agree that the main view nefore that was premil?
I don't judge you. Why do you judge me?Again, that cloak of "spirutallity"
That is just your opinion, as there are scriptures that can be used to support Pre/Post/A mil, the rapture, just cannot support full blown preterism!I believe the Jewish ideas were popular. But Jesus taught Amillennialism directly. Paul and Peter spoke of the present reign with Christ in heaven of all believers. If we are his body, we are seated with him on David's Throne.
I am not judging you as saved or not, just how you present yourself here. remember when you went off on juding if churches allowed "world entertianment" in, if Christians were into acting or singing as a profession?I don't judge you. Why do you judge me?
Jesus and the Apostles were Amillennial. No mention of any millennium in the gospels or letters. And Jesus' teaching on the nature of the kingdom rules out any physical kingdom based on John's symbols in Revelation 20.That is just your opinion, as there are scriptures that can be used to support Pre/Post/A mil, the rapture, just cannot support full blown preterism!
I wasn't judging. We see nothing in scripture resembling today's "Christian entertainment" in the churches.I am not judging you as saved or not, just how you present yourself here. remember when you went off on juding if churches allowed "world entertianment" in, if Christians were into acting or singing as a profession?
The NT supports the idea of a PreMil Kingdom Jesus will return to set up though!Jesus and the Apostles were Amillennial. No mention of any millennium in the gospels or letters. And Jesus' teaching on the nature of the kingdom rules out any physical kingdom based on John's symbols in Revelation 20.
That would be in your judgement!I wasn't judging. We see nothing in scripture resembling today's "Christian entertainment" in the churches.
Jesus will return on the last day. Followed by the resurrection and rapture. The resurrection of the wicked and the judgement. Followed by the explosion of the universe and the New Heavens and Earth. No millennium. The NT supports the idea of a PreMil Kingdom Jesus will return to set up though!
That is your understanding of end times, but you act as if that would be the only true view any should have!Jesus will return on the last day. Followed by the resurrection and rapture. The resurrection of the wicked and the judgement. Followed by the explosion of the universe and the New Heavens and Earth. No millennium.
Are we judging if we call Hitler a murderer? If there is no basis in scripture for doing what we do in church, where does it come from? That would be in your judgement!
Jesus and the Apostles were Amillennial. shouldn't we be also? That is your understanding of end times, but you act as if that would be the only true view any should have!
I would counter they were preMil, so why aren't you?Jesus and the Apostles were Amillennial. shouldn't we be also?
Find premillennialism in any of Jesus' teachings on the kingdom and post it. I've already proven it is missing in his kingdom descriptions.I would counter they were preMil, so why aren't you?
You have to include all of the NT though, as they were given to us in order to put flesh on the sleleton teachings of Jesus, to furhter expalin them in dept and detail!Find premillennialism in any of Jesus' teachings on the kingdom and post it. If Jesus limits the kingdom to the spiritual, we cannot move beyond that without adding to Revelation. You have to include all of the NT though, as they were given to us in order to put flesh on the sleleton teachings of Jesus, to furhter expalin them in dept and detail!
He linked it to the spiritual during His lifetime, and the Apostles expanded to include being physical at His second coming! If Jesus limits the kingdom to the spiritual, we cannot move beyond that without adding to Revelation.
John did not contradict Jesus who said the kingdom was already present. It came without observation, People needed to be born again in order to see it. It was within you. And had already overtaken the world in Jesus' day.He linked it to the spiritual during His lifetime, and the Apostles expanded to include being physical at His second coming!
he gives off to me the impression that he is more spiritual enlightened than many of us here posting...
