You would agree that the main view nefore that was premil?
I believe the Jewish ideas were popular. But Jesus taught Amillennialism directly. Paul and Peter spoke of the present reign with Christ in heaven of all believers. If we are his body, we are seated with him on David's Throne.

That is just your opinion, as there are scriptures that can be used to support Pre/Post/A mil, the rapture, just cannot support full blown preterism!

I don't judge you. Why do you judge me?
I am not judging you as saved or not, just how you present yourself here. remember when you went off on juding if churches allowed "world entertianment" in, if Christians were into acting or singing as a profession?

Jesus and the Apostles were Amillennial. No mention of any millennium in the gospels or letters. And Jesus' teaching on the nature of the kingdom rules out any physical kingdom based on John's symbols in Revelation 20.

I wasn't judging. We see nothing in scripture resembling today's "Christian entertainment" in the churches.

The NT supports the idea of a PreMil Kingdom Jesus will return to set up though!

Jesus will return on the last day. Followed by the resurrection and rapture. The resurrection of the wicked and the judgement. Followed by the explosion of the universe and the New Heavens and Earth. No millennium.

That is your understanding of end times, but you act as if that would be the only true view any should have!

Find premillennialism in any of Jesus' teachings on the kingdom and post it. I've already proven it is missing in his kingdom descriptions.
You have to include all of the NT though, as they were given to us in order to put flesh on the sleleton teachings of Jesus, to furhter expalin them in dept and detail!

If Jesus limits the kingdom to the spiritual, we cannot move beyond that without adding to Revelation.

He linked it to the spiritual during His lifetime, and the Apostles expanded to include being physical at His second coming!

John did not contradict Jesus who said the kingdom was already present. It came without observation, People needed to be born again in order to see it. It was within you. And had already overtaken the world in Jesus' day.

“But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his possessions are safe. But when a stronger man attacks and conquers him, he takes away the first man’s armor on which the man relied and divides up his plunder.Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” (Luke 11:20–23)
