An invasion is sending troops into another country that did not request them. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Your neighbor beats his wife and kids, says that even if sick, women won't get healed cause they don't deserve it, and finally, plants some opium in his garden, not for his own use, but to sell to your own kids.

What will you do ?

What does this have to do with invading Afghanistan and Iraq. Very faulty logic. Bush never could seem to find a good excuse for invading Iraq and bin Laden isn't charged with ANYTHING related to 9/11. So why did we invade Afghanistan? You're way off topic.

Well, well!!! It seems that "RACISM" as a retort has been dealt a crippling blow, so now "You're way off topic." has apparently become the favorite replacement to avoid answering a question that exposes the "liberal agenda"!!!

Talibans were overwhelming the country, putting it back to middle age, women having no right to be cured if sick, having no rights at all, restoring Chariah law.
What would it finance, all that opium in their hands ? Terrorism. Who would they shelter on their ground ? Terrorists.

I'm talking about Afghanistan, not about Iraq.

When you post a lie...and that lie is refuted...and you continue to post the same lie...does your conscience bother you at all?

Just trying to get a feel for how someone can do what you do...and yet seemingly not be bothered by your actions.

Last year, while we were in London visiting old friends, our hostess invited a neighbor over to visit. This woman grew up in Germany during the late 1920s, and recalled that hyper-inflation that ravaged the country. It took a wheelbarrow full of marks to buy a loaf of bread. The decline of the currency produced great unrest.

Adolph Hitler promised to fix the problem, but it would take drastic measures. So the German electorate elected him and gave him almost unlimited power to do what was necessary to combat the inflation.

At the same time, Hitler attacked the Jews as part of the source of the problem. The Germans bought the package. We know the rest of the story. By the time they realized what was happening to them, it was too late.

I remember reading about 30 years ago of terrible financial and social instability in Italy. The article said the Italian people were convinced the situation was so bad, they were willing to accept a dictator if that would bring stability.

Just sayin'.....

I really believe Barak and his leftist backers intend to create chaos in this country prior to a Fascist/Nazi like takeover. He still needs to recruit his civilian security force, perhaps from SEIU and Acorn.

Emphasis mine

Barring a big "NO" from God, it's coming, and sooner than most think!

If you had told me 2 years ago that the govt would be telling private companies who they could have as CEO, I would have called you crazy - can't happen in the US of A!!!

Ha!!! Little did I know just how brazen the "peoples representatives" really were/are!!!

That was the Neo-CON plan, not Obama's.

This past weekend he had his propaganda flunkies out bashing Fox News and warning others not to follow suite. If Barak can destroy talk radio and Fox News his goals will be achieved sooner.

The comment one of his "spokespeople" made was that Fox wasn't a news organization because they push their opinion.

HELLO! don't ABC CBS and all the others?????????????

Obama's flunkies can always gather a crowd who will cheer/swoon at his every lying word. How long before the firelight parades and the masses chanting Seig Heil. Probably as the depression deepens.

FYI
Sieg Heil! ("Hail victory!") was a common Nazi chant at rallies, especially after the speeches of Hitler. Usually the words would be repeated three times to form the chant "sieg...Heil! sieg...Heil! sieg...Heil!"

You guys bash all the media except FOX and Rush and now you're upset that somebody on the other side is fighting back? Sounds just a bit (?) hypocritical to me.

Making comment about nonsensical comments about a media outlet being opinionated when all are is not bashing nor complaining it is called pointing out -- this is multiple choice now -- nonscense : idiotic : nuts : stupidity : lack of brains : moronic. Now to answer please pick at least six choices.

I can't complain about fox nor uphold it as I don't get it on my tiny little cheap antenna, nor do I listen to rush, will I do listen to THE RUSH of our dollars going down the drain :wavey:

"You guys"?
Seems if you were from Alabama like you say it would be ya'll, or at least you'uns.
Like Yosemite Sam said to Bugs,
"Yankee!"
On a lighter note, it is amusing that you think that an opposing view from the MSM is 'fighting back'. You've never been in a fight in your life.

I tell you what sounds hypocritical to me, is the fact that you not only create a false difference between Democrats and Republicans by constantly bashing Republicans, you just posted in a thread in support of Bush the First, the worst Republican President in eighty years except for Bush the Second.

Not only are your posts based on a false premise, you cannot even be consistant about it.

An email I received that seems to fit this general gist of thread!

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year... The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot. The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Everyone applauded and he sat down. Now is was Olivia's turn to speak. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth, he offered ice cream, and 52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want ice cream.

Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone -- that they have not first taken away from someone else.
