The fact is tha while Swindoll and the rest maty be able to tech the same things that the JB does, you obviously lack the skill they do in interpreting. I have seen you draw flawed conclusions that stem from yor reliance on that quirky translation.

Obviously you realise though that using a more literal translation would harm your ability to present your flawed theology as it would lack the idiosyncracies you rely on.

Your problem.

Of course yor response wil be, as always, the gratuitous "you are wrong".

Funny how every thread you post that on you fail to porve it.

Did I say that I put my trust in those bible expositors? NO! I said that my trusted version of the bible is consistant with their work, and their work is consistant with my trusted version of the Bible.

You see, I trust what Calvin had to say about scriptures much of the time, as I trust what Armenius had to say about scriptures much of the time. But I do not adhere to or explicitely trust either of their direct teachings or doctrinal statements, because of people like you that excel at twisting their stance.

If you will read the first post in this thread you will note that I declared Christ to be the means of Grace.

Meaning, neither do I put my trust in man, not even in myself.

Christ being the source of Grace has nothing to do with adhering to the tenets of specific men.

How do you get the "meaning" that knowing that Jesus the Christ is the source of grace means that you do not put your trust in man? There is simply no connection!

It is non-Calvinists who have gotten their theology from men who have misinterpreted the Bible. I urge you to give up the doctrines of men and accept the Word of God.

But only the Word of God as trasnlateed so that it is easier to get your heretical doctrines out of it, all the more convenient to deny the biblical truth that calvanistic interpretation represents!
