Ones more accurate to the originals, such as the Nas and the Nkjv!I find it interesting that many of those who admonish the KJVO crowd also show strong opposition to those who support the updated (2011) edition of the NIV, as well.
It makes me wonder which Bible translations are capable of meeting their standards.
well, you could go to a better translation, called the Nas!On a personal note, it's so nice to be reading from the NIV again.
When I briefly switched to the ESV, it (quite frankly) made reading the Bible a chore for me.
Switching back to the NIV made me gain a newfound appreciation for it.
One might say I've returned to my "first love," so to speak.

Have you tried the Csb?I agree that the NAS is a fine translation. I simply prefer the NIV (primarily for its "readability.").
Have you tried the Csb?
What was "wrong" from your point of view?Yes. In fact, until recently, I owned several copies of the CSB.
After reading the CSB on a daily basis for a span of six months, I decided I didn't really care for it.
I gave my CSB Bibles away to the local Goodwill store.
(This was approximately three months ago, if memory serves.)
