Baseball has their own problems--games are too long, quality of play is degenerating, the leagues mess around with the game by juicing the ball, blacks are under represented......

Thanks for the update. My info came from an article that was written in 2014, before the SABR article was written.

They are 13.3% of the population, but less than 7% of that number are men, and even less than that are men in their prime for baseball, so, if anything, blacks over represented, even now.
