Did you use any of the bear, Jim? I bet those hides would make warm blankets!

I never had to shoot, but I could run fast in those days.

I have seen bearskin rugs, and of course, Inuit outerwear where the fur is inside and the hide outside.

Cheers,

Jim

Happy New Year to one and all. God richly bless each one. I never imagined that 59 years later, I would be still preaching the word of God, but here it is. I never achieved greatness in the eyes of man, but I can say, I have been faithful to Him, and I praise Him for keeping me in the fold of His tender and loving hand. What a joy it has been, What a delight. The trials and tribulations have been as nothing compared to His enduring and longsuffering love.

Cheers to all, and God bless,

Jim

Hi Sheila and Roger,

Not up early, just typing something early. I rise every morning by 4:30-5: for prayer....and then there is the doggie routine,,in and out, out and in.

Jim, LOL, I know what you mean. Leo had me up at 2.20 ish am this morning to go out too.

Roger,

Enjoy your breakfast.

I have to find some kind soul to give me a lift to the hospital as there are no buses today. I have to try and persuade an impatient patient to stay in hospital.

I will look in later,

God Bless

Roger,

I visited Mariel again after church this morning. She is improving. She ate most of her lunch. She had a blood transfusion last night and the doctors don't think she will need the second one, which they had planned on for today. She was in good spirits when I left her watching television with the other ladies in her room.

Blessings

Roger,

Mariel is very keen to come home, but she is still in some pain and also needs oxygen, so I really don't know when she will be discharged. She had hoped she would be out this weekend...
She needs to be more stable before she can be discharged and I am new to all this, I really don't know. It will be so good to have her back home tho'.

How are you and your family? How is Beth enjoying her Christmas break?

Blessings

Good Morning all.

Rob comes home today. It will be so good to have him home again. He has to come via the M25 so I am praying it will be clear today, with no delays which could keep him stuck for hours. He has already had photos developed so I can see the pics of the children and grandchildren opening their presents. He also has some on cd.

We are also waiting to hear how Mariel is this morning. She should see her consultant this morning and have a clearer idea of when she can come home.

I will look in later, have a good day.

God Bless

Sheila

Greetings to all.

Online at the youth centre at the moment. VERY slow day - no kids in till 1.30 and I am on a VERY slow dial-up. I am VERY bored and almost feeling guilty that I am getting paid ;) .

Roger,

An ideal time to catch up on some reading. I have started trying (operative word) to clear up my study, which has become the dumping ground for just about anything and everything this Christmas. Now that I have started I have to finish. :(

Just think of all the threads you can contribute to between now and 1.30 LOL

Blessings
