A restful place for all believers to enjoy fellowship. Sit back. Put your feet up, and enjoy the brethren.

Cheers,

Jim,

Landlord, but not owner.

Yes~I might take a spot of tea and ponder my next move...oh, a thought: "once in a blue moon" might do well in that new game on why do we say that! And by the way, there was another game on here briefly that I wish would resurrect itself. ;) Think I *might* run it by the other granny...soon, well maybe.

Wow, a quick search proved a good many folks sang "Blue Moon". And come to think of it, there were other songs with the word moon in it..."Moon River", etc. The old folks and even today, truly believe in planting by the moon, doing hair, etc, by the moon.

Song: Blue Moon Lyrics
Blue moon, you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart, without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for someone
I really could care for
And then suddenly appeared before me,
the only one my arms could ever hold
I heard somebody whisper 'please adore me'
But when I looked, that moon had turned to gold -
oh oh oh Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart, without a love of my own
Without a love of my own (Blue moon)

When I first came on BB, I think it was broClint I asked what did the meaning of *bump* mean...it didn't sink in till much later, as I tho't when one wrote the word, it somehow "bump/pushed" it up, hahaha! I do understand now...I think. >wink<

I have to keep bumping until a moderator changes the desigation of the room, just so it doesn't get lost in the list.

Cheers,

Jim

Hmmm~I didn't see her do anything. :D I often wonder how things work "behind the screen". And just who stays up all night putting all this stuff in the computer? It just boggles my mind!

Granny, this is part of a poem I wrote a few years back:

The computer is my friend, you see
It waits for me to press its' keys.
Our conversations are replete
Until I press the key "delete".

Perhaps that will explain how this machine works....lol

Cheers,

Jim
the whole poem is 4 stanzas

There are some things that moderators can do in the forums they moderate - that no one else can do - except adminsitrators - then the administrators can do those same things - anywhere on the board.

Dan, Do keep us up-to-date on Jan's progress. Funny how we get to know people over the internet and yet we never meet them.We ask in prayer, "Lord, teach me to pray." And lo, He gives us a long list of names.

Someone once said, "If you don't know how to pray, tell God you love Him and tell God you love all these people."

Cheers,

Jim

To make a topic stick at the top of the screen you simply click on an exclamation point at the bottom of the page that says "feature topic" beside it. If you're a moderator on that forum the software will let you do it, if you're not it doesn't.
It's really so simple. I'd feel much more smart and special if we had secret codes that could never be repeated or something to make this stuff happen. ;) :D

Good Morning to everyone who comes in. I hope you all have a good day in the Lord.

After all the rain and thunder yesterday we have got up to a bright, sunny morning here in Gloucester.

Rob is very pleased with the "new" car. Another busy day here. The weekend is fast approaching and on Sunday we drive down to Kent to collect two of our grandchildren, Luke and Zoe and have them stay here with us for a few days.

I will try and look in later,

God Bless

Sheila

Good morning everyone! Just waiting for a little more daylight(it's 4:46 here) before I put my feet to the gravel and walk, so tho't I'd tell ya about a weird little storm we had yesterday.

It came up suddenly, twisted a few of my trees & snapped one clean into! I was shocked. No real damage done to the fence where our dalmation stays, but guess she was surprised by it all.
