Is there a BLOCK feature on here I want to block Luke cause he has done nothing but prove he is only on here to cause problems and the bible says to get rid of such a person..and not to throw ones pearls before swine

Luke...If love is the answer then why aren't more Christians loving?...far from it...In fact the world often times does a better job, I know I've seen it with my own eyes even on here...most including leaders are not pointing to Christ but their own agenda...please stick to the topic and quit majoring on the minors...would you care to share with us how LOVE is to be manifested in the church?

The topic is mine. I started the thread.

I have been constantly showing you what I think love looks like. Have you read my posts in this thread??

Do you not get what I am saying about your oversimplification of the issue?

Do you not understand that you are not enlightening anyone by saying to a bunch of Christians who've read the Bible through numerous times, who were raised in church, some who sacrifice extraordinarily for the Kingdom- that LOVE is the answer?

OF COURSE IT IS!!

Tell us how it works.

Illustrate what it looks like.

That's how you can be helpful- not by stating the obvious to people who already knew it.

Well you do understand Brother Luke that you have been striking nerves with this post. Allot of people dont see that there is anything wrong with how their churches work.....they come there at 930ish, go to SS, chit chat a bit & have their break out groups. I personally dont like that, because I want my whole family present to learn more (and from a man who is Pastor & Teaching Elder). & When I go to a bible study (designated for men) I wonder why cant I bring my wife? If your going to designate "Guy Stuff", lets make it to build a ramp at the Smith home so they can use wheel chairs. BTW, my wife & I can both cut grass, hedges & rake....we can do that together.

As we discuss this, there are allot of young & middle aged men who need mentoring from the mellow 70 YO types.... you have met them (few & far between though). Grandfathers that have been there & done that & can testify to these experiences....they are both memorable & learning situations. These guys are the antithesis of an Archie Bunker world view.

I say this because allot of fathers don't have this kind of grandfather around (we men die younger) so its wonderful when you can draw from it.... this grandfathers central task should be to pass on wisdom to the younger men.

You would enjoy our 'sunday school' class, as its the senior pastor teaching thru the gospel of john, and he knows that topic well, as he is a Phd in NT studies, majoring on John!
