You know, I will be first to admit that I can get very caustic and sarcastic myself sometimes, but, truth to tell, I wish it were not so.
Colossians 4:6 tells us:
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
However, when I first started posting here in the BB, I was at first surprised to see posts like yours, then I thought, what the heck...
The dictionary defines sarcasm as :
n :
n.
A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.
witty language used to convey insults or scorn; "he used sarcasm to upset his opponent"; "irony is wasted on the stupid";
ex.
Satire is a sort of glass, wherein beholders do generally discover everybody's face but their own"--Johathan Swift
Hot forums like the Versions forum and the Calvinist/Arminian Forums have very interesting appeal to most, but, things get out of hand because somebody starts using sarcasm and another responds and so on and on and on it goes until you finally couldn't tell who started what and the thing becomes a question of who came first, the chicken or the egg and nobody wants to own up to having been first to be unchristian with sarcasm.
Sad.
