More taint so posts, an attacks on my understanding, but no biblical support is offered for the fiction.

Paul used spiritual milk to talk to new Christians as to men of flesh, unsaved folks. 1 Cor. 3:1-3.

Really bad theology there Van! ONLY those who have in them the Holy Spirit can discern and know the things of God and His scriptures!

The endless denial of scripture after scripture continues. Just read 1 Corinthians 3:1-3:

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ.
I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able,
for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?

Who can understand spiritual milk? Mere men. Men of flesh. Those still fleshly.

Again and again folks, the advocates will say "taint so" and Van is rotten to present non-Cal views. But Paul is crystal, lost sinners, men who are still fleshly, can understand milk, the fundamentals of the gospel.

Bables in Christ were acting like they were in the flesh by not maturing to solid meat, but they were NOT unsaved!

LOL, did I say or suggest the new Christians were unsaved? No, of course not. So you are misrepresenting my position simply to deflect and not to provide an actual rebuttal. Paul spoke to them as to men of flesh, as to the unsaved. So the unsaved can receive the milk of the gospel.

Do you believe that I posted this to promote a Calvinistic view?

Hi Rice, you quoted one of my posts and then said do you believe I (Rice) posted "this" to promote a Calvinistic view?
If the "this" is my post, then of course not, you did not post it. If the "this" is the thread, then the answer is "I do not know" why you posted the thread. Unlike some others, I am do not claim to be a mind reader. I do know that the post you quoted was not a response to you, but to well know advocates of total spiritual inability which is false theology.

No, why not use the quote function?
Here I will do it for you:

Note in post 44, Yeshua1 actually quoted my post that includes the above, so he knew or should have know exactly what I said. So why did he misrepresent my view and then ask if the misrepresentation is correct? Deflection on display. These people do not want to see any actual bible study. They are like the guy who said, don't show me the facts, my mind is made up. :)

Paul refers to ONLY saved as receiving the things of God, as he calls mere babes in christ those acting as IF they were still in the flesh!

Yet another scripture nullification post by those who say the bible does not mean what it says.
Did they say why Jesus taught in parables? Nope.
Did they say why God needed to harden hearts? Nope
Did they explain how sinners could have been entering the kingdom of heaven? Nope

On and on they go, ignoring scripture and proclaiming false theology.

Do you ever show to us how Paul in Romans 8 destroys your viewpoints?

Yet another "change the subject" deflection post, including a baseless assertion of somewhere in the bible support can be found for bogus doctrines.

It is too bad the important topic introduced and presented by Rice was derailed by those advocating fase doctrine. Some of us had an emotional experience when we put our life in the hands of Christ, when we committed to serve Him and to become as much like him as we could. One way to describe it is to say we may have had "head" knowledge, knowing all the "right" facts of the gospel, but we did not believe "from the heart." Superficial commitment based on accepting the gospel, but lacking a full blown all or nothing commitment. Like Rice and Deacon, and others, I had an "ah haw" moment, an epiphany, that not only was Jesus the Savior, but I needed to commit to Him as my Lord (the boss of my life) and my God (trusting His promises). I came to that conviction, because of the witness of my Pastor, who was a fountain of love.
