Laugh Hey blessedwife! (I'd wave but the wavy guy is gone). I figured you'd have a zoo by now (actually, I had hoped that the practice of gifting creatures had passed, but I suppose their is at least some comfort in stability....even if its a stable state of instability  ). Good to "see" you.

Maybe if you actually did what God tells us in the Great commission you might be blessed to be the means in which God draws the elect to Himself. As long as you are saying that making disciples is not what you are commanded to do even though that is what is clearly commanded in the Great Commission it is no surprise that you have never been blessed to be the means in which God draws the elect to Himself. Hiding behind Calvinism is a copout out in this case.

18 And Jesus came and said to them,“All authority inin heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matt 28:18-20

The Great Commission is not a passive thing, and for you to say that it is, makes you no better then the hyper-calvinist who won't preach the gospel because God will save them anyways.

I eagerly await to see what animal i get to add to my collection :)

Actually I preach the gospel and am all for disciples but God has to make them.

Right..because "actually, I had hoped that the practice of gifting creatures had passed, but I suppose their is at least some comfort in stability....even if its a stable state of instability" wasn't insulting.
No, what I mean is that your statement that my entire post on this thread was a foolish thing to say. If there is an insult, then I suppose you could infer one there…but not to Evan.

Evan knows that I dislike the whole “rabbit” thing. I think it childish and it does lend a sense of instability to his arguments. It is difficult for people engage in meaningful dialogue when they are greeted by animal pictures at the first disagreement. But he and I know where each other stands, and our disagreement is not insult. But my comment was a bit light hearted towards Blessedwife, and yours was foolish.

I do not post rabbits with disagreements. I post them when people insult me or I want them to buzz off.

For example we had a book topic thread a while back. Yashua kept on interrupting DESPITE being told countless times the discussion was on the book. I posted rabbits to get him to buzz off or buy the book.

You post Rabbit Pictures when you want to tell someone off.

I should know. I have been issued more Rabbits than anyone else. ;)

Hmm, based on his reply it sounds like maybe you don't know where you stand with each other?

My point is that I entered this thread sincerely speaking to Evan. You made a foolish comment out of ignorance, accusing me of only being here to insult John. If I were going to intentionally insult anyone here, it would not be John.

Yea...I remember when you started it was "for fun." But things kinda take a life of their own. I just didn't know you were still posting them (when I left you had branched out to...something, I can't remember but it wasn't a rabbit). Anyway, you and I have talked much in the past. If you ever feel that I mean something as an insult then please don't hesitate to PM me and discuss the topic. I do try to treat everyone here as a brother or sister in Christ because that is what we are. We've had our "go arounds" here, and I remember pulling my hair out a few times, but I don't really remember the topic...but I never intend to insult you. I guess as a street preacher I always assumed that you were not the hyper-sensitive type (judging from his comment, Matt may be...vicariously anyway). But if you ever think I go too far, just let me know.

Was out witnessing Saturday and observed a man open air preaching. iPad in one hand as he open aired. I approached him to ask a question and he ignored me and all others that tried to stop him. Ignoring people is the wrong way to open air!! When I opened air last weekend I spoke with people that approached me even to a major heckler! I had another guy shouting at me and I even addressed him when I was preaching.

I have had sincere listeners approach me to ask a question or others whom were repentant and close to salvation. Ignoring people that want to get saved is not the way to open air preach!

Who made you the authority on proper open air preaching? I find it ironic that you were lamenting on another thread that others were criticizing you for the way you open air and now you are here dragging this man through the mud on the BB. Maybe, you should be thankful that he is out there doing something instead. Maybe, you should take your own advice and go chase a rabbit - that way you will too tired to drag someone else through the mud. Just saying...

He points out your hypocrisy, and you respond with this?
Don,
Not to take the thread off the "rabbit trail" but I noticed that you have "Rabbit raiser/butcher/eater" on the tag.

Is this a hobby or part of your subsistence as one might have chickens for eggs and poultry or for pets.
