Paul.
The writer said that he was not an eye witness to the resurrected Christ, therefore is not Paul.

Because He fulfilled the Law, abolished the old and instituted a new ( Hebrews 8 ).No requirement in NT to keep the Sabbath. But according of how Jesus behave and observe the Sabbath Day, why when those who call themselves "Christians" which I assume means "the followers of Christ" do not observe the Sabbath Day as Jesus Christ did?
Hebrews 8 doesn't say anything about a new Law. It speaks about a New Covenant, as spoken of in Jeremiah 31:31-34, where God would write His Law ("my laws") in the heart. Same Law of Ten Commandments, differing location, differing mediation, differing High priest. differing blood. The context of Jeremiah and the "my laws" always refer to the Ten Commandments in Jeremiah (see Isaiah 51:7; Jeremiah 6:19, 9:13, 16:11, 26:4, 44:10; Ezekiel 22:26; &c), as they do elsewhere, even with Moses; see Exodus 16:4 (the context of which includes the sabbath commandment, the 7th day, the sabbath of the LORD).Because He fulfilled the Law, abolished the old and instituted a new ( Hebrews 8 )....
In koine Greek it reads "the man", "ton anthrwpon",...Also, did you miss this in your reading, sir?
" And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:" ( Mark 2:27 ).
This is interesting...sabbath was never given to the gentile Church!
Powerful scriptures which both prove (in context) the perpetuity of the 7th day the sabbath and for Christians to keep holy.Romans 14:5-6
Colossians 2:16
In citing the Law what did Jesus say explicitly about the Sabbath? This is interesting...
“There was and is a command to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will however be readily said, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week, with all its duties, privileges and sanctions. Earnestly desiring information on this subject, which I have studied for many years, I ask, where can the record of such a transaction be found: Not in the New Testament – absolutely not. There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week.” Dr. E. T. Hiscox, author of the ‘Baptist Manual’.

The text of Romans 14, doesn't say anything close to what you said, when you say, "that regarding one day above any other is a choice we make to the Lord, and no one is to act as judge over that."Nonsense. They prove-- by what they say-- that regarding one day above any other days is a choice we make to the Lord, and no one is to act as judge over that. Got it, Your Dishonor?
No, it is to the Honour and Glory of God to Honour Him in His Day:...Got it, Your Dishonor?
Ok, and what of any the other 9 laws are being cited to which Jesus is including the Sabbath in those references?Mar_3:4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
Luk_6:9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
Mat_12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
Like Mark 10:19? What does Jesus say about the need to observe the Sabbath, like Matthew 24:20? And that is future. In citing the Law . . .
