The second civil war is coming?

What with , "What do we want? ", "fry em like bacon", the Berkeley riots, Attempted murder of several Republican congressmen,"Republican Hunter"; IMO without intervention of some sort we may well be heading for Civil War II.
Wars begin when, in a major crisis, no peaceful solution can be found. We are at or near that point.

The political left considers us irremediably evil and dangerous. Thusly do they justify engaging in violence, sending their version of "Brown Shirts" onto college campuses to prevent our side from even speaking. It's Kristallnacht 2017.

Their ministries of propaganda (otherwise known as the mainstream news media) are working full steam ahead, vilifying us and lying about every action President Trump takes. Their armies of lawyers are clearly intending to clog up the courts with so many lawsuits and other legal tactics as to paralyze the Trump administration from achieving anything. The left will yield nothing, not so much as an inch of ground, without political bloodshed.
It has been shed.

Well, the first Civil War ruined our nation. Hopefully the second would cure it.
(I am not talking about slavery so the bleeding liberals can not waste their time going there)

Well if it has to happen I hope some good comes of it but in this day and age I do not see that happening.

Perhaps the rapture will come before long, and then the socialists, leftist dims, etc. can do as they desire because there will be minimal opposition.
All I can say is that I feel great pity for those left as this country will, virtually overnight, become a northern hemisphere version of Venezuela.:Frown:(:(

He's not the one shooting congressmen.

And that incident is going to lead to a civil war? Dude, we've had Presidents assassinated. If you let a single incident lead you to believe we are headed to a civil war then I don't know how you ever go outside without worrying yourself into a frenzy.

Not even close to my point. How in the world did you take my comment to suggest that?
Because its a common problem on text only blog.

The assassination of Abraham Lincoln (which I thought you were addressing) was a "single incident" and when I see death suggestions against my president I get a little concerned especially in light of those who put their stamp of approval on more blood and violence be they government officials, comedians, actors or common folk.

Ever heard of John F. Kennedy? Did that start a civil war? My point is that thankfully there are same people that don't see an impending war because a lunatic shot somebody.

Well go ahead and just write it off then.
Write off the "Republican Hunter".
Write off the comedic assassination of president Trump.
Write of the simulated stage assassination of president Trump.
Write off the Pro-Life violence advocator.
Write off "What do we want? Dead Cops. When do we want them? Now".
Write off the Berkeley lunatics...

That's the problem - the crowd of lunatics is growing. It's not a single incident and it grows almost daily.

You don't get it. No one is trying to write anything off. I'm saying that the default end result isn't a civil war. It doesn't logically follow.

The nation is becoming divided in ways not seen since the mid 1800's. Throughout modern history govt. has compromised and operated rather well. That compromise has ended. We are approaching a tipping point. Are we going over the edge? All I can say is we are closer to the edge than we have been in a very long time.

How would the left shooting the left lead to civil war?

Different scenario, in my opinion.

OK I guess I'm just paranoid at the unprecedented domestic assault on the POTUS.

Jesus is still in control. Personally, I expect things to be bad preceding the Rapture from a Christian's perspective and peachy from a retrobate's perspective. My current perspective is bad.
