He is a tad over the top. What he does id sow chaos.
He has made the US into an untrustable nation.
For those in the US he may look like he has done some good but from out here he is just a disaster waiting to happen.
He is over the top.
He likes WWE, and in many ways he reminds me of a WWE character.
The US was already "untrustable". Look at how we were viewed under Biden. With Trump the problem is not "untrustable" but instead an apprehension about what he might do. Maybe "unstable" would be a better word.
But when I look back at other issues (crazy talk about tariffs, about the border, the economy, Venezuela, Iran, Gaza, etc) all of that actually worked out very well. That makes it more difficult to jump on the bandwagon against the current issue.
When I look back at other issues Trump appears smarter than his speech at the time leads me to believe.
I was very critical with his talk against Panama, with Mexico and tariffs, with Iran, with the Venezuela ships. But then, looking back, I was impressed with the results.
It does make it so that we do know exactly how he is trying to accomplish his agendas. So much is smoke and mirrors to accomplish goals. It is hard to know how he is working, what to take seriously and what to take with a grain of salt. And that is instability.
The counter argument is that Trump deliberately uses thus instability to his advantage, caring less about perception and more about end results.
I cannot say I am a Trump fan. Obviously I support our President insofar as we are commanded. I am a Christian, and would not slander the POTUS as so many do (changing "Biden" or "Trump", "let's go Brandon" or "no kings day"). But with politics I am an observer, not a participant.
It is interesting. Ultimately all we can judge by (politically) is in hindsight. So far, in hindsight, Trump is doing much better than I had anticipated. At any present time, however, he seems a couple cans short of a six pack.
