You....

NONE of the Rep. candidates have "NO ISSUES"- just ask the liberal media. If there aren't any real ones, made-up ones will do just as well.

....hit that one out-of-the-park! out-of-the-park...how true it is that the media (including Hollywood types, comedians and talk-show hosts)use dais (similar to a bully pulpit) to influence what the general public thinks and therefore, biases the vote. It's almost like (legally) stuffing the ballot box!

I'm not in the habit of raising Cain anyway.

Presidents typically don't have Q&A sessions without knowing what the topic and questions are going to be ahead of time. Presidents have cabinet members that are the micro-specialists on the issues. The fact is that Presidents DO gather their advisors together before they make policy decisions.

I've had "Rick Perry Moments" while preaching lots of times!!! I'll be preaching along and at the same time thinking to myself----"Mercy!! I didn't write down that Bible verse quote in my notes here---what was it???"----or----"Dang!! I can't remember that man's name to save my life--who was it???" and have even made pleas while preaching----"Can someone help me find that verse I'm lookin' for!!!! It starts with . . . I'm going to give Cain a pass on this one. He appeared to be bone-tired and was attempting to ferret out the actual question at hand and possibly trying to anticipate which direction the follow-up question was likely to go.

If it were a one-time deal, I'd agree with you about giving him a pass; but he's made a couple of foreign policy gaffes. Either his team isn't prepping him for "world events" questions, or he's completely focused inward and is willfully ignorant on world affairs. And I agree with pulling together your advisors; but when it appears that's often your answer, that tends to give an impression that you can't make any decisions or answer any questions on your own.

I'd like to see him get better, more rounded, and I'd like to see him do it quickly. I'm not a big fan of any of his competition.
