An entire culture that brings nothing of value? Wow, just wow. Yeah, no problems with Hispanics there.

OK so what's wrong with Mexico or south America if their culture is so wonderful?

It's ok for them to come here as long as they are not displacing white workers, with us black Americans it's our fault, we need a better education. Logic lol.

You said their culture brings nothing of value. Culture isn't the same thing as a geographical location.

Are you so desperately trying to justify your logic you are grasping at anything?

But of course culture is reflected in their home country's. Do you want to live in Mexico? How many heads were sawed off? How many government officials were killed? Do you think that Mexico is a bastion of perfection? If they have such a wonderful culture, why are they coming here?

Read what you wrote to me and then ask yourself why they are coming here.

The same type of debate we are having has taken place periodically over the last 150 years. The targets of the debates have changed over the years. At first, it was the immigration of Irish Catholics. Then, it was the Chinese and other Asians. In the early part of the 20th century, it was Eastern European Jewish and Italian immigration.

Doesn't look like skin color had any more to do with it then than it does now. It's simply not a "racial" issue. No matter how much Trump haters would like to make it one.

The numbers are no where close to what they are now.

So because it's bad for them where they came from, it's ok to do the same here?

I know Trump just got elected so it's probably not surprising that people think that Mexicans are nothing but head sawing rapists storming the country but not one of your points in this thread was about crime. You are falling back on your Army of straw men here.

You asked why they would want to come over here...well I suspect some people would like to get away from a potentially dangerous environment. I mean wouldn't you?

Nope, just good old fashioned ethnic bigotry.

No the language is very difficult they have five tenses and many of the pronunciations are gutteral sounds. It is very difficult to learn as an adult.
Not to mention all the cultural norms that go with Navajo. My husband and I chaperoned a STEM camp for Native students this last summer and a couple of the kids introduced themselves in Navajo. When they translated what they said in English it was like 2 paragraphs of information about them their family, who is alive, who has passed on etc.

Because I am a quarter Hispanic?
Because you're dishonest.....I am talking about language and you play the typical liberal accusation. And if Carpo thinks your funny then I guess these forms are not worth visiting any longer.

As for the difficulty of the Navajo language for non-Navajos, remember the Code Talkers of WW2.

Not quite the same, Dine' (Navajo Language) is not known by very many people around the world. In fact it is a very recent language as far as written languages. It had just never been on anyones radar.
