Thing about climate change is that this may very well be the run up to that horrible time in which the sun will seem 7 times (completely) hotter than ever before (Isaiah 30:26 perhaps lived out by those of Rev. 16?) .

So hot, that in my opinion, the A/C units will no longer be able to function. So hot, pure water will be scarce. And so hot that even the ground water sources will be boiling hot. Communication tools will fail. Travel will cease because refineries will no longer be capable of removing heat. Electrical generators will stop because of wire insulation breakdown.

Food sources will dry up. Oceans will become a cauldron of putridity. Forest fires will rag unstoppable.

Weather patterns will drive the temperatures to soar to ever increasing highs during the day and plunge to frigid lows at night.

Medicinal helps will no longer be effective nor anyone seek other than death.

Solar flares will all but destroy a third of land and oceans.

Such a bleak picture, that God has painted.

Perhaps the young lady is right, but has the cause as wrong?

The thing about climate change is that science does not actually support it.

Well, there is change.

And, some science does have a basic understanding that something is happening, and there is physical evidence of certain phenomena taking place. What I discern is that "rather than worshiping God, they are worshiping the creation" and exchange truth for a lie. (Romans 1:25)

What I typically have seen in other smaller issues in the past is that human reasoning, being conformed to the deceitful nature, blinds and binds the whole reasoning of the ungodly bringing it into conformity to the purposes of God.

To see this in action, think of Egypt from the time of Joseph through Moses. A 400 year process in which the Egyptians were confirmed in ungodliness and that being brought into conformity to the purposes of God.

This is not true. Science does support climate change.

(I take it you consider the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age as scientific hoxes?)

You know what I mean. It does not support Climate Change in the way liberals try to use it. There is a reason they quit calling it "Global Warming"

I know what you say, not what you mean.

The Medieval Warm Period was a period of global warming and the Little Ice Age was a period of global cooling.

What is in dispute is not the data but the cause (the narrative that explains the data... the theories).

Of course. It is natural for the ungodly to formulate a label in which to squash any opposition.

For example, no one is for "global warming," but "climate change is too nebulous a term. We can see Polar Bears feasting in territory outside their normal areas, the shrinking of ice caps and glaciers, and oceans rising. Such can be documented. So the term global warming can be easily applied to even the most unconcerned person.

But, climate change?

In Texas, just wait a day or two, it will be as a baby - changed.

It's funny to me when they talk about the ice caps and being the "lowest on record" considering they have only been tracking that since about the 70's. Not exactly a huge sample size for a world that is thousands of years old.

I agree.

What I think they may be seeing is that the typical ice cap replenishment is nearly non-existent and what is there is shrinking at an alarming rate.

Yes, all the leftist wackos have the cause wrong. The earth's magnetic poles are actually shifting, and that fact coupled with the increase in solar activity is why the climate is changing in such a way. There is absolutely nothing that man can do to stop it, nothing at all. It's simply nature being nature.

its nonsense because although there is climate change it has to do with the sun as it ages and matures,
Adonia is correct, there is NOTHING that man can do to change it except pray to its creator.

You're going to have to wait a long time for your crazy end-times pseudo-theology. In the past century, reportedly, the globe has warmed a mere 0.7 degree C. So, you're going to have to keep your skirt on a long time for the sun to seem 7 times hotter.

America & Europe do not have intelligent researchers on this issue so there is no reason for alarm over the one degree or so over the last century. Who thinks that this pitiful sick communist teenager knows what she is talking about? Her show business parents only highlight what is wrong with Sweden today.

God is still on the throne.

You may discard His promises, I do not. Why should I?

I thought you took the statements of Scripture as presented factually?

Besides, for every 5 degrees of centigrade it is approximately 9 degrees Fahrenheit.

Such is not significant at this time, however there are significant indications that change in the sun is dramatically increased.

It is that change that will continue and will impact the earth in the more sudden fashion indicated in Scriptures.

At least it was not Chuck or Nancy.

I had heard it was going to be the Ukraine Whistleblower.

Was kind of hoping it would have been the Hong Kong protesters. The award is given for people or groups that do the most to influence events in the world. By that metric the Hong Kong protesters are certainly more qualified than a whiny, condescending, scolding teenager.

Our American scientists are not well-educated on this topic and they mostly are talking politics. We are looking at a 1 degree increase in 125 years or so. That could be caused by inaccurate observations. The sun seems to go in cycles:
