This is the second time you have quoted me and proceeded to lecture everyone.

Do me a favor and quote somebody else next time you feel the need to lecture everyone. Thanks.

My apologies sir.:(

Next time ( if there is one ), I won't quote you specifically when I am attempting to avoid quoting Logos1560 ( whom I have stopped replying to on this subject ), and I will try harder to gently remind everyone that our conduct towards each other, and by extension, all men, should be more in line with what the Lord commands us to observe.;)

However, if we as believers cannot give and take correction without reacting out of anger and defensively, perhaps we shouldn't bother to try to correct each other ( biblically ), or to try and make peace between warring factions, at all.:Unsure:Cautious

With respect, if I were trying to offend you, I know very well how to do that without mincing words...and my intention was not to offend, nor should it ever be.

I wish you well, and may God bless you sir.:)

Ron Rhodes wrote: “The New King James Version (NKJV) is a revision of the King James Version (KJV) in modern English” (Complete Guide, p. 113). Ron Rhodes added: “The NKJV significantly updates the KJV, making it a much more accurate translation” (p. 114).

Evangelist Estus Pirkle wrote: “In my opinion, the New King James Version is the greatest English translation that is available today to English readers. It is based on the same Hebrew and Greek texts (Textus Receptus) used by the 1611 KJV translators” (The 1611 KJB, p. 177).

Wilbur Pickering asserted: “Until such a time as a good translation of the Majority Text becomes available, the best current English version of the NT is the NKJV—an excellent translation of a good Greek text” (Identity of NT Text II, p. 183).

I wish you had copied and pasted this sooner because if Estus Pirkle wrote that glowing statement concerning the NKJV ......it’s settled.......nothing else to discuss.

Thomas Nelson is the only one who publishes the King James Study bible (formerly called the Liberty Annotated Study Bible).

Its a good conservative Baptist Study Bible, and Im thankful Thomas Nelson publishes it.

I also appreciate the better typography Thomas Nelson is starting to use in their Bibles.

If a company admits they cannot fulfill the obligations of a contract, then where is the fraud when one seeks another who can actually fulfill the obligations of the contract.

“Thomas Nelson believes that the so-called fraud claim (not disclosing to EPAC that it was also negotiating with a competitor) is wholly without merit, legally or factually, and that it acted properly in 2011 when it terminated the printing contract that EPAC admitted it could not fulfill,"

Seeking the best deal for the price is part of any contract negotiation.

I fail to see how Tennessee jury came to their conclusion.

I doubt that the judgement will stand or even be upheld.

Sad to think that today we allow a place a forum where False teachers are protected while they do their best to destroy peoples faith in the KJB.
Wonder what those forefathers would think of that ?

The KJV (NOT "KJB"!) has PROVEN GOOFS in it, such as "Easter" in Acts 12:4.

The false teaching here is the KJVO myth, which has NO Scriptural support, even in the KJV itself & is therefore false.(As if there are no other reasons why it's false!)

And Harper Collins is one of the British copyright holders for the KJV.

I say, let all the for-profit "Christian" publishers go out of business.
To me, they are only interested in one thing...
Your money.

The non-profits are fully capable of providing Bibles, in whatever language is required, to those believers that want them... and at a substantial savings compared to the for-profits.;)

"Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer [is] worthy of his reward.
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses."
( 1 Timothy 5:17-19 )

I like Thomas Nelson Bibles. I have several in my personal collection. The recent NKJV editions using the "comfort type" font are nice and easy on the eyes.
