Yeah no kidding the only thing that has changed in my daily life is the increase of attacks on me from Republicans that I interact with. Although that is what you get when you make your strong opinions and convictions known.

oh so it's all about you only? how about the unborn? how about the oppressed? how about those reaping benefits from religious freedom?

my mistake I thought the preserving of the supreme court would be a blessing for Christians even if it didn't affect us personally. i feel blessed with others are blessed.

Ah but you have my dear, you have. Trump supporters (under God's providence of course) have put Trump into office. He's already nominated a blessing for a SC justice and many federal justice will follow. that will bless us for many generations.
We will see, but again that doesn't affect my life and as I said the less interaction I have with the government the better. If we got back to the government our founders intended I would not really have to worry about who was in DC. I want to get back to that point (pipe dreams I know) and will always vote for candidates that are Constitutional Conservatives because that is what I think is the best for this country and for freedom for many generations.

Let me explain something to you before I retire for the evening. Everything you just posted about John McCain is true to an extent.

Here is the issue. When you accuse a man of being a loser because he was captured during wartime, you are in effect saying that if you are captured in wartime then you are a loser. I know it was focused on John McCain but the statement and Trump's logic behind that statement is heard by any and all POW's. I don't appreciate the idea being floated by the Commander in Chief that you are somehow less of a Soldier because circumstances in combat find you in the hands of the enemy. War is messy and sloppy at times and things happen beyond the control of those that engage in it. Was it his intent to put that concept out there to insult POW's? Probably not but it's another example of his mouth running before the brain can catch up. That is a problem and the statement was a problem. I am well aware that Republicans like to toss that comment aside because they've suspended principle in that situation to get the shot in on McCain. I don't approve of it and I promise you that while veterans may support Trump, they do not support that concept as applied to McCain.

Have a goodnight and thank you for finally arriving at the crux of the argument.

I'll give you last word, only adding that Trump is human and makes mistakes, and has called McCain a hero.

I am a veteran and feel strongly about this...I am extremely skeptical that he did so from the depths of his heart but more from political pressure.

Let's pick it up again tomorrow......,.. I'm exhausted.

I honestly don't think we are going to agree on that one and we will honestly never know so I don't suspect that would be a particularly worthwhile endeavour. It's fine to disagree on this one.

Really babies are still be killed in this country every day. That has not changed with the election of Trump. There are still oppressed people, again that has not changed. Religious freedom, given that Trump supportes the LGBTQ community and recent history has shown time and time again when Christianity and the LGBTQ clash the LGBTQ wins with government support, so again no change there. As I said the court is still up in the air as anyone familiar with recent history knows how easily it is to be burned by a good sounding justice. Lets face it everyone was shocked that Roberts sided with the liberal side of the court on the disaster that is Obamacare. So I'm going to wait and see what Gorsuch does when he gets there and rules on a case.

And when I see the compromise the church had to make to support Trump, from defending on FB Baby Killing Planned Parenthood (Because Trump praised them on national tv), to even today watching suppose Christians dance around the issue of Milo and his comments about young boys, I see much danger ahead not blessing on a national scale.

So No I see no reason to thank people who embraced pragmatism at the expense of moral conviction, when history shows over and over again what happens when morals are destroyed.

Yes, Trump's appointment has not been confirmed yet, and may be still 1 justice short of an actual challenge to RvW. So then you can't simply be encouraged that we are 1 step closer to ending the holocaust? These steps in the right direction don't mean anything to you?

you would have rather Trump lost and Hillary appoint a liberal justice?

I really don't understand this reasoning. It's as if SC justices don't matter.

Nope I would rather neither New Yorker had won the white house. I voted for a Constitutional Conservative with Solid Pro-Life cred (unlike Trump who praised baby killing planned parenthood on TV) Also we don't have a solid idea on how Gorsuch will rule on Roe V. Wade since he has not said nor ruled on any abortion issues, so again having been burned in the past I will wait and see what he does when he gets on the court. (I did find it intreaguing that of the final 3 names being floated for SC Trump picked the one that had the least to say about Roe v. Wade given how much hype his supporters put on that pick for Roe v. Wade.)

And believe it or not if we got back to the government the founding fathers set up a single SC justice wouldn't matter that much, the fact that we have come to the point where even conservatives act like the SC is the be all end all of our government shows how far we have come from the government our Constitution set up. As a Conservative I will always be trying to get back to the Constitutional form of Government.

Yes you did exactly what the media and Hillary Campaign wanted you to do. They wanted you to waste your vote on someone with the chances of the tooth ferry. They marketed us very hard. We didn't fall for it.

Had the majority of Christians followed your lead, we'd have no hope of ever restoring the courts. Thankfully, God didn't let that happen. Enjoy your blessing.
