Today's baseball fact is that the Braves are making me wish for football season after the August they have had.

Try being a Red Sox fan. From first to worst.

It's hard to feel sorry for someone with three World Series wins in the last ten years but yeah, the Sox are going to have to start seriously head hunting starting pitching this off-season year. I now that everyone says the farm is full of young talent but you need some proven innings eaters in there for the post season.

It does not get worse than being swept by the Mariners, in Boston !!!!!

Ohhhhh yea....that is embarrassing.

We gave up on the Yankees right after the Steinbrenner family gave Joe Torre the bums rush. But on Saturday they gave Ole Joe a ring, a plack & retired his number. On to the NFL!

The Twins have scored the 6th most runs in all of major league baseball yet are in last place in their division.

I'll pick a team going into the playoffs. Other than that, I'm waiting for the puck to drop.

Clayton Kershaw's ERA of 1.70 is the lowest ERA by a left handed pitcher since Carl Hubbell recorded an ERA of 1.66 in 1933.

Zack Greinke (P) Dodgers, has a higher career BA than Aaron Hicks (OF) Twins, and more career HR than Ben Revere (OF) Phillies.
