Yea they were told to do many things and Yes you are right speaking in tongues was not one of them. You must have done alot of studying to notice that
Did you happen to catch where he told them to preach repentance or remission of sins or the Holy Ghost, or living a HOly Life, or baptisim, and all that other stuff they preached?
