Now this has been understood being the Son as the LORD God per John 1:18.

I agree.

But I was talking about the Creation account.

I believe any time we see God in the OT interacting with man we are seeing Christ pre-incarnate.

I am of the persuasion the preincarnate Word is the LORD God Creator, per John 1:3.

The Trinity is Persons who are three distinct Persons, who are the one and the same God.
The Son of God is both how He is with God and being God. John 1:1-3.

Trinity is the name of it's explaintion. Being God the Father, the Son of God an the Holy Spirit being three distinct Persons and being the One LORD God.
