You are right... I’m loosing my shirt and I’ve seen too much death this month alone. I’m going to do the capitalist thing And buy a new Lexus Hybrid and take the wife up to NY State and N. England. Go to Maine along the rocky coast and eat some lobster, climb Katoden, camp out... maybe fish and grow a beard.

Have a good time.

I always wanted to go to Maine and 50 years ago I read a great deal about the Appalachian Trail. Never have been to New England.
My best friend is retiring in Maine so I may pay him a visit. It’s a whole different world, clean and healthy... not hot and humid. You could walk the trails and see nature, moose, tons of waterways to fish and boat in, the rocky coast is beautiful... come check it out, I think you’d love it.

He's got to go to the northern part, southern Maine is just like Massachusettes - too crowded.

I lived in northern Vermont right on the Canadian border for 17 years and I loved every minute of it. Lot's of snow and cold in the winter, beautiful cool summers, and the fall colors cannot be beat. I still have the 100 acres I lived on and now that I'm getting into a part time retirement I plan to get up there more often. Where do you live now?

Western suburbs of Indianapolis. I am from small town Indiana--now rust belt decay. Indianapolis boomed in the 1980s and then sank into decay since.

I have been to Indiana many times as a truck driver in the last 40 years. It seems to be as decent a Midwest state as any of them out there, minus Illinois of course. Yes, you would certainly enjoy a trip to New England.
