They are not paid millions to stand during national anthem so that's their time and not the club's
What? I don't know of another job in which one is required to wear a uniform, and when in uniform does not represent his employer. Can an off-duty police officer go to a bar or strip joint in uniform and do his own thing, for example? An airline pilot? A nurse?...
So when is the appropriate time for a black man to protest?

The NFL will most likely lose its tax exempt status over this. It will be very hard for small market teams to compete. Players and staff salaries are going to drop. Vendors are going to be put out of work.
