Trump Fires Comey

Yes, but this is the accusation ITL is throwing out there. He claims there is evidence that Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russians, whatever that means.

No I'm not saying there is direct evidence. I'm saying there is enough circumstantial evidence to have an investigation.

Are you opposed to an investigation?

I will say that I welcome a real investigation. I am opposed to a dog and pony show that leakes all kind of bogus carp to the media. Investigate, release absolutely nothing until investigation is finalized.

That's what the FBI, the House Intelligence committee investigation and the Senate Intelligence committee is supposed to find out, whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with Russians. The DNI's investigation was to find out if Russians influenced our election. They say they did.

Is that what they're doing? According to Comey, Trump wasn't being investigated.

Why not "asses" that the Trump campaign was involved

They "ASSESSED" everything else.

Is it because they don't believe it themselves?

Great. Please cite the circumstantial evidence that the trump campaign colluded with Russia and illegally affecting the election.

I hope you understand one day that he doesn't have to do anything because it has gotten to this point lol. It has finally been enough to where the DOJ has to bring in outsiders.

I understand the political reasons they did it, but I've yet to hear from you who want this investigated, exactly why you believe it warrants an investigation. Is it just hatred for Trump?

I do not think there is anything I can say to you about my opinion on this that will satisfy you. What I can tell you is that you are in the minority of Americans asking for no accountability.

If you want to keep justifying opposition as = to hatred of Trump then that is solely on you.

Well maybe you can, maybe you can't, but you're evading a simple question, and raising more questions. Why do you need a special council to investigate accusations with no circumstantial evidence? So far you're not willing to cite any circumstantial evidence. Perhaps because you don't know of any.

What if the press makes other unsubstantiated accusations. Should all claims be investigated with a SC? Is there such a thing as an unwarranted investigation? According to you, it would seem, there is not. If the press makes it up, then investigate. Correct?

Why do you not want one? This is no longer a partisan issue!

Because I don't believe you should investigate people without any probable cause, or circumstantial evidence. It's a form of harassment to prevent the President doing his job (this seems to be the primary motivation with some). And it would seem to me, this is unprecedented in American politics. Normally you need some kind of smoke to investigate a fire.

Well its obvious that you and I have completely different views on what smoke looks and smells like.

I may or I may not. Please explain the smoke you see implicating the Trump campaign of collusion with Russia on illegal interference of the US election. I'm just trying to get you guys to describe this evidence you claim you see.

OK, if I post something promise not to ask again?

Exclusive: Trump campaign had at least 18 undisclosed contacts with Russians

Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters.

The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

If you post something? No, only if you answer the actual question.

So as asked for evidence, and you provided this. According to your own article: "Officials said they had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia."

Do you have any actually evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, of collusion with Russia to illegally influence the election? And what could Russia possibly have done to illegally affect the outcome? Like I've said, Obama actually campaigned against Netanyahu. Is it illegal for Russia prefer a certain candidate?

I think this is a very easy and straightforward question.
