Trump Fires Comey

People are saying people on Trump's campaign might have had contact with Russian officials. I don't know anyone that is saying Trump is colluding with Putin.
The cover-up might be Trump's biggest problem right now as with Nixon.

Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation

I just want a thorough, unbiased investigation. if you don't that's your choice.

Sure you do. You've already made up your mind that Trump is covering something up.

While I appreciate you standing up for presumed innocence, you're still wanting to investigate someone without probable cause. So far there is no evidence warranting an investigation of Trump. Do you agree? If not, cite the evidence.

Investigation would be into Trump's campaign workers. I would like to see that. I don't know of anyone talking about investigating Trump.

Can you please cite the evidence against the Trump campaign? Why do you believe they should be investigated? Just because?

Sigh...I've listed this at least a half dozen times.

Paul Manafort
Michael Flynn
Carter Page
Roger Stone
Jared Kushner

Google their names and "Russian connections" and set aside about a half hour for reading time.

These are names, not evidence. Cite the actual evidence. I've googled each name, and found no evidence at all that points to Trump's campaign, just various accusations. Do you have any actual evidence to investigate the Trump campaign?

Is this sort of similar to the Trump rape story you were citing during the election?

The many paths from Trump to Russia

Click on each name at top of page.

Sent from my Motorola Droid Turbo.

What do you mean by paths to Russia? What does this have to to with evidence of illegal activity by the Trump campaign?

For the last time, can you please cite actual evidence that warrants an investigation of the Trump campaign? I'm beginning to you don't have any. This is much like your Trump rape story.

Roger Stone has absolutely no "ties to Russia" as the MSM keeps insisting. He is biting at the bit to testify
with no immunity --but no takers.

All of this Russian collusion stuff is a smokescreen. Those who solemnly declare it know there isn't the slightest evidence for it. Yet they continue full-bore to get Trump out of office. His agenda is totally at odds with theirs.

The people that need investigation with actual crimes are Hillary and Co., Obama & Co., and Comey himself.

I think ITL knows this. It's why he'll only provide vague answers and obscure links.

Could someone tell me the evidence that exits to warrant in investigation of the Trump campaign?

Good luck with that one. ;)

Still an open question. Can someone offer any evidence that warrants an investigation of the Trump campaign? Or is this just a political case of bearing false witness?

Do you promise this will be the last time you ask? Oh, please, please?!

Here are some key findings from the US Intelligence report on Russia influencing the 2016 Presidential election:

We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump. We have high confidence in these judgments.

We also assess Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him. All three agencies agree with this judgment. CIA and FBI have high confidence in this judgment; NSA has moderate confidence.

Given those findings and the fact that key Trump campaign aides have extensive ties to Russians I think it is entirely appropriate that an investigation be done to determine if the Trump campaign was complicit in Russia's efforts to influence our election.

Oh, and by the way, evidence is UNCOVERED by investigations, it is not first found and then the investigation commences.

This is much like your Trump rape story.

For the hundredth time, I didn't have any "Trump rape story".[/QUOTE]

We ASSESS...we ASSESS...we ASSESS

Is that the same as we believe , but can't prove?

What they did not ASSESS is that there was any collusion with the Trump campaign.

I asked what the evidence was that warrants an investigation of the Trump campaign. So, what exactly is that evidence? That Putin was rooting for Trump? That's a crime? Of the Trump campaign? Can you cite the statute you believe was violated? Last I checked, it's not legal to favor a candidate. Obama actually campaigned against the current Israeli Prime minister.

Again, I keep asking patiently. What is the evidence that warrants the Trump campaign being investigated? And is the Trump campaign being investigated? I don't even see evidence for that?

So far your answer is, Putin liked him more than Hillary.

Yes, but this is the accusation ITL is throwing out there. He claims there is evidence that Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russians, whatever that means. Even his sources don't say that. So far he's presented evidence that might support the fact that Putin liked Trump more than Hillary. (run screaming for the hills!)

The investigation is the search for evidence. Evidence does not cause investigations. Sheesh.

That's what the FBI, the House Intelligence committee investigation and the Senate Intelligence committee is supposed to find out, whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with Russians. The DNI's investigation was to find out if Russians influenced our election. They say they did.
