Do you promise this will be the last time you ask? Oh, please, please?!
Here are some key findings from the US Intelligence report on Russia influencing the 2016 Presidential election:
We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump. We have high confidence in these judgments.
We also assess Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him. All three agencies agree with this judgment. CIA and FBI have high confidence in this judgment; NSA has moderate confidence.
Given those findings and the fact that key Trump campaign aides have extensive ties to Russians I think it is entirely appropriate that an investigation be done to determine if the Trump campaign was complicit in Russia's efforts to influence our election.
Oh, and by the way, evidence is UNCOVERED by investigations, it is not first found and then the investigation commences.
For the hundredth time, I didn't have any "Trump rape story".
