There is evidence that Michael Flynn had contact with the Russians. Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign director for most of the campaign had contact with the Russians. Carter Page, Roger Stone, Jeff Sessions, all associates of Trump also had contact.

Wondering why anyone would NOT want a special prosecutor to look into whether or not our elections were compromised.

Senate Intelligence committee investigation lacks resources and is moving at a snails pace.

Basically there has not been a completed investigation. Every time someone tries to look at this issue it gets derailed. I wonder why that is?

So you don't have a quote from the FBI. You just naturally assumed the investigation had stopped when Comey was fired. How convenient for you. The House and the senate investigations are ongoing, as well. They just haven't found anything either.

I believe they are all wasting their time, but until they find at least some evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians, calling for a special prosecutor is a waste of time. There is nothing to prosecute and I really doubt they could find out anything the FBI can't. The FBI is the premier investigative agency in the country , and maybe the world, aren't they?
