Why would Russia fear us... Trump has got Puties back and we are in debt to China
USA 700 billion DEFENSE budget

They are shaking in their boots (along with Kim).

China total NATIONAL budget - 175 billion
Russia total NATIONAL budget - 200 billion

Our defense budget amount is more than China and Russia's combined total NATIONAL budget amounts.

Putin and Jinping - HMM!! what's that 700 billion for!?

Tweet softly but carry a big stick :Roflmao

For Trump Free Trade means Fair Trade - a ZERO balance ledger, kind of like double entry bookkeeping.

Yes, zero sum. When someone buys something with money, one person or business receives money and the other person or business receives a good or a service. Americans buy more stuff and services from the rest of the world because we are the premier consumerist society in the history of the world and give them our money for those goods and services. We aren't giving them money and not getting something in return. Everything balances out between money and goods/services exchanged. The only way to reduce the imbalance, that some people have a problem with of Americans giving money to individuals and businesses in other countries, to zero is to have America stop being such a consumerist society.

To say, "We can just make the stuff here", well, we can't make everything here. And even if we did the prices would be so much higher that Americans would consume much less. Now I have no problem with Americans consuming less, but if that is your goal that you really want to achieve as a country, then you will have to convince a very large chunk of the 320 million people in this country to go along with you.

I do. Every time I see "made in China" I look for another product "made in the USA". Only if I can't find American do I buy foreign.

Also (as an example) I buy ONLY American made automobiles even if the foreign cars are manufactured here in the states.

I recommend this practice to everyone.

That’s quite disconcerting... and that’s only 14% of our total budget... yet we have to borrow 2 trillion from our advisories ... what the heck are we doing in our spending habits?

Trump is not a conservative.
Trump is not a liberal.
Trump is Trump.

Policy wise, both social and fiscal, Trump is actually more conservative than Reagan. Especially when you factor in immigration policy which Reagan, frankly, dropped the ball.

In fact, I'm now hearing conservatives admit that reciprocal tariffs really are the only way to fight tariffs against us.

Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment

So Christians were wrong to fight the Japanese and the Nazi's in WW2?

Not only that but IMO the steel tariff will (down the road) cause our own rebound of steel fabrication from iron ore/pig iron right here at home in the US of A.

Well if it ever comes to a fight, rest assured mainland America will not escape the wrath of death and destruction in all it's forms. This isn't the 1940's anymore.
True but don't be surprised if only one American city is pummeled (if we dont get the missile or bomber in route).

Russia has boasted of having a "death ray" but this is an old espionage tactic - if you suspect or have a leak (e.g. AMERICA HAS A DEATH RAY!) that the enemy (us) has something - claim that you yourself have it or something better to try to get them (us) to boast and/or intimidate us.

And even when they (Russians) actually have something they have to boast and show it off.
In October of 1961 they detonated the largest man-made known explosion on earth. a 50 megaton thermo-nuclear bomb.

It was also referred to as Kuzma's mother (Russian: Ку́зькина ма́ть, tr. Kúz'kina mát', IPA: [ˈkusʲkʲɪnə ˈmatʲ]),[4] possibly referring to First secretary Nikita Khrushchev's promise to show the United States a Kuzma's mother (an idiom roughly translating to "We'll show you!") at a 1960 session of United Nations General Assembly.[5][6]

But we (USA) are more secretive - however our enemies know for a relative certainty we have something horrendous.

the likes of which the world has never seen.

I would say Trump is definitely a tool of God. A king Darius.
his detractors, like Fake news and Dems should heed the advice that was given to the jews, that they need to be careful, for if God really is behind him, then they would find themselves against God!

China has been killing us in "intellectual properties", as in stealing some of our business secrets!

This is pure Peter Navarro...always wringing his hands about trade imbalances and how other countries are f’ing us. So he finally got Trump to buy into his irrational stance on trade. This democrat is a bomb thrower who is causing much pain for American manufacturing and agriculture. Wait and see how this will effect the Merican consumers as it starts hitting them in their collective wallets.
