It sounds like you are saying that creating transparency of Clinton lead to her not getting more votes. I fail to see how having transparency is a bad thing.

The WikiLeaks email leaks did not directly involve Hillary. Most involved John Podesta, Debbie Wasserman Schulz and others--you know, the campaign staff. They were unflattering emails about Bernie Sanders, democratic donors, and other issues.

If you are failing to see how having transparency is a bad thing, why oppose an investigation into Trump's campaign staff.

I don't know, but I'm fairly certain that destroying Trump and putting Pense in his place will hand the White House to the Democrats in 2020 (the 1976 election is a great case study of how that works). The Democrats appear to be completely aware of that, but I'm not sure the Republicans wringing their hands over Trump are.
