Yes, really. You are more than welcome to find out for yourself.
My personal biased view is that President Trump has done more for this nation than any recent President. That is why I supported him with my vote. BUT that is not why I respect the POTUS. I respect the POTUS for two reasons: I am a patriotic and I am a Christian (not in that order).

You probably shouldn't use your authority here as a ticket to impose your personal views and judgments like you've been doing a lot lately. Just friendly advice back at you. I give due respect for the office of the President but I know and you know that it has NEVER been mandatory here to show respect for the man in that office, and you know that all of a sudden you want to hypocritically change the rules. You're riding on a lie.

You make me laugh sitting up there on your perch all proud, brave and thinking yourself more righteous than others while behind a computer screen and while itching to invoke your authority upon others. Kind of typical of what's going on today across the country. But just like those who are suddenly and biasedly abusing their authority on social media site these days to punish those who that don't agree with their political standing, they are soon to find out they are not big shots they think they are. For instance, perhaps this site could be bought and you might find out you could be replaced. Don't tempt me brother!

I did serve so that you would have the right to trash our Constitution, our nation, and our President. But this is a Christian forum and if you choose to exercise that right you will do it elsewhere.
I served myself, but I've never taken the defense of constitution as my right to forcefully define its meaning to others and decide who is being Christian or not according my to my views on a Christian internet forum. But seems that is the stand you have been trying to impose around here lately, you've changed...

Oh really? I must have missed this mandatory respect when Trump was the President. Are you now going to follow the lead of the horrid actions going on this country and start censoring those who disagree with your own personal biased views?
It's not his personal biased views. It is the opinion of the Admin Team. Baptist Board has gone through 3 election cycles. So,we've decided to rein in the rhetoric.

Your crackdown has some conveniently strong coincidental similarities to what is happening to the country right now. I am appalled at the threats by admins here tonight.

I could see the need to rein in the rhetoric. Personally, I'll be glad when this matter is settled, if it ever is. Regardless, my point would be I will never accept Biden as a legitimate President regardless of someone's (authority) on here insisting he is legitimate and pushing his view, calling it biblical that this is the only Christian thing to do.

Should Biden end up sitting in the White House I have no intention of stewing over day after day, but will rather go on with my life, try to ignore political debates and hope and pray for the next election to go better and for the world to survive it.

Yeah, after Biden is installed, you can't say anything like "I’m just like Joey Bags LOL only I don’t wear diapers". I think the admins are afraid of the parler treatment but c'mon man, if the tiger eats you last he still eats you.

The Admin Team is not afraid of the Parler treatment.

I agree that Trump did not say anything wrong in his speech. He did not necessarily tell the truth, but freedom of speech does not mean someone only tells the truth.

Where Trump bears responsibility is misleading people into believing that Pence could stop the counting of the electoral certificates or that Congress could refuse to accept those certificates. His failure was not one of words but of leadership.
Trump insisting Pence decide unilaterally was admittedly too much. The stance of actually investigating the evident fraud and irregularities more closely and bipartisanly was spot on, and many Reps including Pence were all for that, which would have delayed confirming the votes.

The extremely weak defense of the Capitol (looked suspiciously like an escort) against "fringe" supporters and infiltrators made sure that was off the table. The associated deaths, which still lack important info and context, made absolutely sure.

Of course, had it been BLM/Antifa against a Trump confirmation, it would have all been fully justified by the Dem Media. And Trump still would have been banned by Big Tech. Yes, the Dems are just that hypocritical, and more so.

I have a suggestion, remove the political threads on this forum... they are not helping the cause of furthering Christianity. I think we can all agree to that. Sure you will loose some participation but I’m betting that you will gain in the long run, by emphasizing Christ and not by emphasizing politics. You decide.

There it is folks, the justification excuse for a coup aimed at the United States government.

Does the august management of this forum not see you are providing a platform for political anarchy?

How did you get there. Your Ancestors IMMIGRATED. do you understand what the word means
I got news for you, that would mean everyone, everywhere, except natives to the Fertile Crescent, are immigrants. It's ridiculous to call someone an immigrant just because their ancestors 200 years earlier came from somewhere else.

The point I made is that the USA is the country with the most immigrants. Regardless of how long ago it happened

I have thought the same. Politics is a stumbling block to so many.
