Salary is irrelevant. One trip to Florida wipes out all the savings from four years of no salary, with much more expense to spare.
Not only that but every trip costs the local economy. The Lantana airport may go out of business from revenues lost. They have to close the airport every time he flies in or out. There is overtime costs to the sheriff and local police, road closures are coating local businesses money from lost sales.

How many trips did the previous occupant of the White House (who's name is not worthy of mention) do so on our dime? Hmmm. And how many times has that previous occupant flown on Air Force One all by himself, while his wife flew on another "Air Force One", so-to-speak, and his two daughters and their dogs flew a third "Air Force One"...all while a on a taxpayers dime? And why wasn't the media outraged over that? Besides I wonder: did anyone bother to ask President Trump if he financed the Florida trips himself, and not the taxpayers? Juuuuuust checking.
