Trump would have been charged with obstruction were he not president, hundreds of former federal prosecutors assert

More than 370 former federal prosecutors who worked in Republican and Democratic administrations have signed on to a statement asserting special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s findings would have produced obstruction charges against President Trump — if not for the office he held.

“Each of us believes that the conduct of President Trump described in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would, in the case of any other person not covered by the Office of Legal Counsel policy against indicting a sitting President, result in multiple felony charges for obstruction of justice,” the former federal prosecutors wrote.

Thanks for the WaPo link, warn me next time so I don’t infect my laptop, thanks.

Does this then mean Mueller is in big trouble for not recommending charges, or for telling Barr his decision did not rest on Trump's status as president? Hmmm.
Seriously, there is something very deep and troubling going on when someone supposedly as thorough and experienced as Mueller fails to make the recommendation, and then hundreds come forward saying it’s practically an open and shut case that the recommendation should have been made.

Trump could not have obstructed justice even if he had tried. There has to be a crime. There was no crime, so he can not obstruct "justice" of a non crime.

370 former Federal prosecutors said there were crimes. You like Trump seem to think you know more about the law than legal experts. Nobody is above the law. Trump can't be prosecuted for a Federal crime while in office but he can be prosecuted for a state crime. The state of NY will take care of that.

Having any number of prosecutors say this is not proof it is true. The AG says it is not true. Barr defended his position well before the senate judiciary/ What is the political leanings of these 370 so called former prosecutors? What is their position on Trump in general. Why did they feel the need to sign such a document?

No proof has been offered here in this thread as of yet, just a claim of some people, nothing more.

What crimes? Only crimes I see were Obama, Hillary, and DNC. I get my info from good lawyers, not political hack job nut cases.

Yeah, no crime, no obstruction. Even the 10 potential cases of obstruction are bogus. Nothing was ever followed through on. This is just another Anti-Trump smear job. Nothing to see here. Move on.

It’s very obvious that TDS is alive and thriving, and contrary to most things, TDS manages to grow on being fed nothing but bovine excrement!!!!
Facts are the “diet” equivalent for the TDS’ers.

Who or what is TDS?

A better term is unhinged but it means Trump Derangement Syndrome. It effects establishment Repubs (RINO's) and liberals. It causes hatred, involuntary cussing (mimicking turrets syndrome), poor judgment, stress, anxiety, involuntary crying, depression.

Trump is certainly deranged but I have nothing in common with him.
That’s one of the major symptoms—imagining that Trump is deranged. Also, hating all of the good he is doing to rebuild and restore America. And believing Hillary was not guilty but that Trump was.

But perhaps you aren’t completely gone. Maybe you were ashamed of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Eating, ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’ Congressman making a mockery of the House? However, if you believe Kavanaugh was guilty, then you are pretty much gone either way.

Why have you signed on to the idea that it is now a good thing to criminalize political differences? There was NO COLLUSION, therefore there can be no OBSTRUCTION of Justice. This whole thing was made up out of whole cloth by those who did not like the results of the last presidential election.

But hey, don't believe me just go and read the E-Mails between FBI officials Peter Strouck and his lover Ms. Page. They were "going to get him" through their little "insurance policy". He "would never be the President" they said to each other. Don't forget the other conspirators in this little scheme also, Mr. McCabe, Mr. Comey, the Communist CIA head Mr. Brennen, and intel director James Clapper - they all had a part in this.

You should be aghast that in our country this coup was attempted against the constitutionally and legally elected President, with the administration then in power going after it's political opposition with the full force of government institutions. If this had been some Republicans doing this stuff I would still feel the same way and oppose such shenanigans. This is not how we should be dealing with each other in the political sphere.

You do realize that you are spitting into the wind, do you not??
No application of logic will ever fly against the blindness, stubbornness, and, pure disregard for truth of a TDSer!
