(The prophecy of God having left heaven returning to heaven due to one specific sin committed nationally by Israel)
“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”
Hosea 5:15
(The committing of the one specific sin that caused God the Son’s return to heaven at the right hand of the Father)
“And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that which is to come.
...Even so shall it be also unto this evil generation.”
Matthew 12:32, 45 ASV
(The prerequisite to the return of our Lord)
“For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
Matthew 23:39 ASV
Interesting theory. Some at the wailing wall have been praying that. That is what Judaism has prayed for since the last prophet in the last chapter of 2 Chronicles. That is why they rejected Jesus. They have never stopped praying.
14 In addition, the chief
cohanim and the people grew increasingly unfaithful, following all the abominable practices of the other nations; and they polluted the house of
Adonai, which he had consecrated in Yerushalayim.
15 Time after time, and frequently,
Adonai, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers; because he had compassion on his people and on the place where he lived.
16 But they ridiculed God’s messengers, treating his words with contempt and scoffing at his prophets, until the anger of
Adonai rose up against his people to the extent that there was no longer any remedy.
23 “Here is what Koresh king of Persia says:
Adonai, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms on earth, and he has charged me to build him a house in Yerushalayim, in Y’hudah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, may
Adonai his God be with him! He may go up . . . .”
They are looking for Adonai, the Lord. They will find the Lamb, who was crucified.
The timing comes from God. Not based on any human activity one iota. The only thing the church can do is pray, humble themselves, seek God’s face, and turn from their wickedness. That is not some magic mumbo jumbo, or taking scripture out of context. God is not going to wait for that last one. If the church fails, those who missed the chance, will be blood stains on the church's hands. The church could still bring in a bountiful harvest. But they have to do it now; no opportunity after the church is complete. What is done will be done, no magic number to get to. Sorry.
The Jews returning from Babylon gave up as well, waiting and waiting. A temple was built and they kept waiting. Then the temple was destroyed, yet they kept waiting. They are more patient than this church generation, who have proclaimed Christ already came in the 1st century. They deny most of the future prophecies. They think it crazy, yet Judaism has been futurist for over 400 years longer than the church. Some in the Northern tribes 700 years before Christ. Just because one generation rejected Jesus Christ in 30AD, means that generations living now who have the Law and the prophets all over the world are not waiting. The whole of creation is groaning, has been groaning for a long time. Why has the church become so impatient and so doctrinally corrupted?
