Hey CTB,
Are you saying it is OK to support the Democrat Party, acknowledging the evil and immorality that they openly embrace as a platform, because the Republican Party is also immoral? Or are you saying we shouldn’t support either? If the latter, then I see your point.
I am saying we have to choose between parties. Abortion is the law of the land whether I like it or not. It has been reviewed by the SC more than any case in our history and left to stand.
The GOP is trying to roll back to another age many programs that benefit the poor, the elderly, children, and people injured on the job. I oppose this attack on the living.
So, I am against abortion I recognize there is little or nothing I can do about it. So I side with the politicians, flawed as they are, are want to help the poor, the elderly, children and people injured on the job.
Thus, I say I am pro-life. I am against abortion and am also in favor of helping the living who need help. That is a view not shared by all and I do not consider them pro-life. They are pro-birth, but seem to care nothing about that child once they are born.
We have to pick and select our fights. There is no future in spitting into the wind. Select the fights there is a chance of winning.
