Unconditional Salvation

Here's another verse that clearly refutes justification by our faith alone:
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath [of God] through him. Ro 5

"Justified by His blood" is by faith! It's not a refute, it's a confirmation of faith alone. Faith only in His blood.

But you can't see that!

The problem is the UR side of your belief. That is the conflicting element.

It most definitely is a refute of your unscriptural notion of justification by our faith ALONE. More:

13 for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified: Ro 2
24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Ro 3
1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through him. Ro 5
33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God`s elect? It is God that justifieth; Ro 8

Just stop adding that one little word 'alone' to the gospel and all becomes well, Charlie.

John Calvin taught justification by faith alone. But a Calvinist that has accepted the UR has a completely different view of election.

It looks like that is what we're dealing with here. A whole new can of worms.

Are you a branch of the Modern Calvinists that have accepted the UR?

It's only fair that I know who I'm talking to.

So? What? I'm no follower of John Calvin, you are, in this case. FYI Charlie, I'm not a Calvinist, but I do share their monergism.

Lol, I've not a clue what UR is.
