Understanding God's sovereignty

You act like it. Everything He did Glorified the Father, God is well pleased in Him. Yet you have yet to admit for some strange reason that His Death for sin Glorified God, you seem to want to seperate things, like His faithfulness did, but His dying for sin didnt. Why was the Son of God manifested according to 1 Jn 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Did the works of the devil have anything to do with sin ?

How many times must I post these words before you grasp there truth BF?

Php 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death--
even death on a cross!

Christ's faithfulness glorified God. Do you not understand that?

Well lets look at what the bible says BF.

Dan_4:34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.

Joh_11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."

Joh_12:16 At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.

Joh_12:23 Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

Joh_12:29 Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again."

Joh_13:31 When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him.
Joh_13:32 If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

Act_3:13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.

2Th_1:10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
2Th_1:12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1Pe_1:21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

How many times must I post these words before you grasp there truth BF? I include a few more verses so now perhaps you can grasp the truth?

Php 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death--
even death on a cross!
Php 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
Php 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Php 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. NIV

Im fine with all those scriptures, amen to them, yet you avoid Christ Glorifying God by redeeming His People from sin , Rev 5:9-10

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth

God was Glorified and the Lamb by His victory over sin.

It was because of sin 1 Cor 15:54-57

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

How much clearer must the word of God be before you understand it BF?

Php 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death--
even death on a cross!

So God and Christ are Glorified by Sin through Jesus Christ ! That destroys your unbelief in the fact God is the First Cause of sin into the world.

Your comment makes no since BF.

How would sin glorify God BF?

If God is the author/first cause of sin then He is responsible for all the sin and evil in the world and since we know there is no shadow of sin to found in Him then your "God is the First Cause of sin" is not biblical.

"God is the First Cause of sin" is just another of the errors to be found in the C/R view.

That makes no since BF. Sin does not glorify God.

Rom 3:8 And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), "Let us do evil that good may come"? Their condemnation is just.

You are condemned by your own words BF.

It doesnt make sense to you that Christ is victorious over sin and death ? 1 Cor 15:55-57

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
