Bible study requires study, thinking about the meaning of the verse or passage, and following the contextual train of though of the author. We see a phrase as ask what does this mean or to what is this referring?

How can a student confirm the translation they are using has not altered the grammatical structure of text. A reverse interlinear, with each Greek word parsed (indicating the syntax, whether noun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, etc) so if a noun has been changed into a verb to alter the message, that finding is revealed.

One way to grow more familiar with Biblical Times and the culture of those times is to use a study tool like
"The New Manners and Customs of Bible Times"
