    The pictures there are interesting.
They appear to be at West Ambler Johnston
    Hall early in the morning.
The one about a girl being dragged out
    by police and
one about a man being dragged out by police
are being shown all over TV.

The picture of a tall Asian fellow being handcuffed
and him sitting up against a wall with handcuffs
behind his back are not being shown very much on TV
    nor explained anywhere?

The conspiracy media (Paranoia Press ;) )
    is alread on-line:

{accredation available to mods upon request, i see no reason
    to make the panic attack proponents job easier :( }

I strongly agree that mass gun control would have kept the impact of this horrific event to a minimum. But then again I define gun control as a firm grip, careful aim, and a slow squeeze of the trigger.

Maybe not Muslim (there are more and more Asian Muslims, but still not many that have made headlines), but the mass media is still mum on some issues, while vocal on others. (Of course, "terrorism has been ruled out".)

OK, how about a list of those who I speculate will be blamed or already have been blamed? If someone on the list has already been blamed, I'm including a quote afterward. This list is several hours old, so if you've seen blame attributed to a source that has so far been unblamed, please add it to the list.

Some of the people who are being blamed, do hold some responsibility for the severity of the event, such as not cancelling classes, but are not to blame. (I find it interesting that Andy Griffith was mentioned by two different sources.)

Please note that the one at the end of the list has not yet been blamed specifically in the media, and that's the shooter. No one has simply come out and said, "He's a psychopath who murdered 32 people."

    President Bush
The Republicans("As the Virginia Tech community struggles with the mourning and questioning that is certain to follow, the continued prayers from this Congress are with the students, their families, the faculty and the staff at Virginia Tech," Pelosi said)

    The Congress
    The Media
    The manufacturer(s) of the gun(s)
The Blacksburg Police Department ("As some students fled the scene, they were tackled to the ground and handcuffed by police seeking to stop the killer fleeing in the chaos".)
    Montgomery County Sheriff's Office
The Virginia Tech Police/Security Department ("Everett Good, junior, said of the lack of warning: "Someone's head is definitely going to roll over that.")
    The shooter's parents/teachers/clergy
The Courts of wherever this predator is from
La Migra ("Authorities were investigating whether the gunman who killed 32 people on the Virginia Tech campus in the deadliest shooting rampage in U.S. history was a Chinese man who arrived in the United States last year on a student visa.")
Virginia Tech ("I think the university has blood on their hands because of their lack of action after the first incident," said Billy Bason, 18, who lives on the seventh floor of the dorm.)
The girlfriend ("He was said to have quarrelled {sic} in a dormitory with his girlfriend, whom he believed had been seeing another man".)
The National Rifle Association ("The shooting will re-open the often heated debate over gun controls in the U.S., whose Constitution declares that the people's right to bear arms must not be infringed.")

What The Right To Bear Arms Wrought At Virginia Tech
    posted April 16, 2007

    Rutledge, GA

The Virginia Tech massacre made me grateful for Andy Griffith.

I usually watch Keith Olbermann, but tonight he began to describe the Virginia Tech events. I could not watch.

The right to keep and bear arms. It's tied to a time when we feared Indians, the British, and bears. We needed to bear arms.

Consider what the right to arms did at Virginia Tech.

Gun bill gets shot down by panel
HB 1572, which would have allowed handguns on college campuses, died in subcommittee.

    By Greg Esposito

A bill that would have given college students and employees the right to carry handguns on campus died with nary a shot being fired in the General Assembly.

House Bill 1572 didn't get through the House Committee on Militia, Police and Public Safety. It died Monday in the subcommittee stage, the first of several hurdles bills must overcome before becoming laws.

The bill was proposed by Del. Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoah County, on behalf of the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Gilbert was unavailable Monday and spokesman Gary Frink would not comment on the bill's defeat other than to say the issue was dead for this General Assembly session.

Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker was happy to hear the bill was defeated. "I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."

Parents Demand Firing of Virginia Tech President, Police Chief Over Poor Handling of Mass Shooting

    Monday, April 16, 2007

Parents of a Virginia Tech student expressed outrage Monday at what they call an inadequate response by college brass to the worst mass-murder shooting in American history.

John and Jennifer Shourds of Lovettsville, Va. demanded the immediate firings of University President Charles Steger and Virginia Tech Campus Police Chief W.R. Flinchum who he said "screwed up" the handling of separate shooting incidents that left 33 students dead, including the shooter.

“My God, if someone shoots somebody there should be an immediate lockdown of the campus,” said John Shourds. “They totally blew it. The president blew it, campus police blew it.”

However, John Shourds said he had doubts about the effectiveness of Virginia Tech’s campus police from the start. He called the force, “an Andy Griffith and Barney Fife” operation. "They are really small police force for 20,000 students and they are not the best and the brightest,” said Shourds.

:tear: It is truly a sad day in America. :tear:

    Praying for the families. :praying:

As a Blogger, I'd like to comment on something. 48 hours ago, we were blogging about washington and the troubles in the government. and now, This... It puts in all into perspective... It seems that the world has just stopped. and that's a good thing..

What angers me, is the people speculating on this and that, and the other, and the people blaming the asains and the government...

This isn't Politics, this is a tragic thing, people died... let's stop blaming each other, and pray for the victims and the familes.

    My 2 cents...

By now I am sure everyone has heard that the gunman was South Korean with a green card (permanent residency) who bought the guns used legally.

    Earlier (yesterday) I said:
This was a 'person of interest'. He was in police custody
when the later shooting spree took place.

Ismail is the islamic name for Ishmael...

Time went by and no children were born to Sarah. She realized she was sterile. She accepted her fate and submitted to the will of Allah. Ibrahim and Sarah moved to Egypt where the king gave Sarah a woman to be her servant. The woman's name was Hajar. Sarah was seeing Ibrahim' s hair getting white, and it grieved her to see his chance of having any child slipping away. She offered Hajar her servant as a wife to her husband, and prayed Allah to bless Hajar and Ibrahim with a child. And so came Ismail, a baby boy born to Hajar. How unselfish Sarah was! For her, the need to have an offspring who would carry the Message after Ibrahim was greater than her pride. Fourteen years later Allah rewarded Sarah with a son, Ishaq in spite of her old age.

If you read this story, it tells of ibraham destroying idols with an ax... I wonder if this could be related....?

And the gun control legislation might have prevented this person from being able to do this in the first place.

I don't see how anyone can possibly blame gun control legislation, when that is not even attrempt to take all guns away from all law abiding citizens, as Gun control opponents often scream. A background check, waiting period, and stuff like that? If you really are a law abiding citizen, then you should have nothing to hide. If you're not planning to rob a bank tonight, you can wait for your first gun. It's the criminals that is aimed at, but the conservative conspiratorialists always have to make it a plot against themselves. Getting a house or car is made much harder (credit reports for payments, etc) and everyone seems to accept that.

It seemed like people want thugs to be able to buy guns easily, and then go into the cities and shoot each other up. Only this time, it wasn't some far away urban slum.
And then we figure, if the gunman does happen to come our way, I got mine, and I'll take him out. First of all, who says you'd even win? A person like this who just started oening up shooting, you might not even have a chance to reach for or go get your gun (while meanwhile, the children could be finding it, and shooting themselves, as often happens).

So we patch up the negative result of so many guns easily availble with more guns more easily available. Now you're saying all the students should have been armed. Or that everyone in society should be armed? So it's that easy! We'll all be John Wayne in the great big showdown at the OK Corral, right? I think many people are living in this "American Wild West" shootemup movie fantasy where only the bad guy gets killed in the end because the posse was properly armed. But what we're forgetting is if you have everyone armed and shooting, those bullets fly, and many will miss their target, and innocent people will still be slaughtered en-masse (which again, happens in urban high crime areas all the time). Just look at the Mideast, and other such places like that. Is that what you want here?

Again, nobody's trying to take guns from any law abiding citizens, and I don't see how a Church that almost universally tells suffering or fearful people "trust God" or "be anxious for nothing" can side with the gun lobby, as if guns are what are trusted as the salvation of mankind. (And this right after decrying tragedies like Columbine, and trying to blame the removal of prayer or the 10 Commandments for kids having guns).

According to the gun shop owner who sold him the gun, he passed all the requirements for legal gun ownership. Established Virginia residence, legal driver's license, and background check cleared by the Virginia State Police. No prior record, either.

Back to my point about allah. Plenty of mention of allah, Buddha, and God, but no mention of Jesus Christ ANYWHERE in the whole service. None.

    It's a PC country now.

    Even so, Come, Lord Jesus.

irionically, I'll probably guess that every worldly religion could somehow justify the killer's actions....

You must have missed the governor's speech.. .He even quoted Jesus... "My God, My God why have you forsaken me"

I thought he did a wonderful job bringing Jesus into the situation...

I also thought he did a nice job. He bought into the emotions one has with the story from the OT of Job and then again with the emotions with the quote from Jesus.

The WND articles failed to mention this. I wonder why?

Also, I think you can see Jesus even without a word. Look at the community. People that never knew each other, or never talked are now gathering together and helping each other through this time of need. Christ can be found in many ways, it doesn't take someone mentioning him by name to see that.

A favorite quote of mine is:
"Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words." -- Francis of Assisi.
