Both sides should post truth. Truth is usually determined by analyzing the "perceived truths" of the opposing views.

There is a lot of reactionary stuff going on with both sides. It is out of hand and people don't know who to believe. The best thing is just to read the actual data.

It seems we know more about the safety and dangers of the vaccine than we do the actual virus - but even what is known becomes obscured by people interpreting live data to their desires (on both sides).

Kinda miss the small town doctor just treating scrapes and broken bones.

I agree. They want to throw away and not address the past research into Covid vaccines.

I agree about censorship. There is an agenda to get everyone vacvinated.

But that does not excuse the conspiracy nuts for posting misinformation to combat the pro-vax-wear-a-mask-till-ya-die crowd.

What do you think? As of the morning news today there is now a push on to vaccinate pregnant women and another nuance is a third booster shot. Wait a week and they will look to vaccinate your family pets

Why do you think I would take credit for the vacvine????

I understand you are disappointed I won't, but I had nothing to do with the vacvine. It was developed under Trump's "Operation Warp Speed) and picked up by the Biden administration. I certainly can't take responsibility for the virus.

Where we differ is I believe people should get the facts and make their own decision.

No games at all. The claim is we should consider scientists non-Christians because most are. If that is true, then we should consider people non-Christians because most are.

There is an agenda to get everyone vaccinated because some believe this is the only way to stop the virus. We saw the same debate before covid (just quiter) with the measles vaccine.

There is an agenda to stop vaccines as well. Some people do not want anybody else vacvinated because they believe the vaccine is a risk without a benefit.

Both of the extreme positions want to remove the choice to make educated decisions on health issues from individuals.

This is why I put the Fact Sheets on a sticky. At least people can read the materials before exploring alternate information.

I would think exactly who to believecan easy decision.

The pro-vax extremists present the vaccinations as safe. But this is relative to the risk posed by the actual virus. Some present the vaccine as providing sterilizing immunity, a view the Fact Sheets do not support.

The anti-vax extremists present a conspiracy on the part of the government. They will say that the government is concealing that the vax can have serious side effects, but even a casual reading of the Fact Sheets dispel this rumor. They will say an ex-employ offered that Pfizer has added secret unlisted poisons to the vaccine so they will own the vaccine (which flies in the face of reason- they would not care if the vacvine was ineffective, they automatically own the vaccine until generic versions can be allowed, and they are not one only ones with vaccines out there.

So both agendas are untrustworthy.

People need to read the actual Fact Sheets and then decide if they want the vax, do not want the vax, or want more information (like, perhaps, letting time tell).

Ultimately it should remain an individual decision. But both sides are pumping out "fake news" (especially the anti-vax side) at breakneck speed.

Think for a minute (look at the side effects they list). If they were trying to pretend the vacvine is safe would they really list those possible side effects?

We have more in common than you thought. I also trust God over science.

BUT I also allow that God is a God of means. I do not believe that cancer treatments, transfusions, blood pressure medication, etc. are evil or express a lack of faith.

Why do we need a vaccine? At the Savannah River Site (where I am employeed) we have 88 cases of covid. Some have already died. I have lost people I know to covid. I have a cousin (20 years old) with organ damage from a mild covid case. A friend's daughter had a stroke due to a blood clot from covid.

Augusta has had 542 covid deaths. Ages range from children to the elderly - some with preexisting conditions, most without.

If we can have a vaccine to prevent deaths from viruses then it is a good thing - even if only one life was saved.

Mammograms have saved lives through early detection. This is a good thing. I have a friend who is alive today because of trial cancer treatments. This is a good thing.
