What’s the Bible tell us about pot?
I’ve looked into it for my wife’s pain from cancer. The so called experts have not given me a difinitive as to treating it. Her pain doctor is largely against it, probably cause he is a Muslim. He is also against opioids leaving us literally nothing to treat it with besides gabapentin & Tylenol.I have two friends and two family members who use medical cannabis, it has helped them immensely with their medical conditions. They haven’t turned into fiends at all. One only uses the CBD.
Cannabis is amazing medication for epilepsy, chronic pain, muscle spasms, back pain, loss of appetite, nausea, insomnia and many other things by all accounts.
It would be sinful to use illegally for recreational use, but for medical use it is excellent for easing some very bad symptoms, sometimes far superior to modern pharmaceuticals.

They give her a synthetic opioid known as Tramadol.its the chemo(2000mg) per day that’s toxic. That’s insane. Maybe you should consult another doctor about it. A family member had cannabis after a very tough cancer operation and he could not eat or sleep after all the opioid pain killers.
It fixed all of that immediately, could eat and sleep again and helped with the ongoing pain management.
Honestly mate, talk to another doctor, for at least a trial, to see if it suits. It is a genuine medical treatment avenue that works for pain management.
There might be people out there abusing cannabis for recreation, but it shouldn’t disqualify people suffering real cancer pain, holy mackrel.
I was very skeptical until I saw the beneficial effects it had on people suffering. I don’t even take normal medication myself if I can help it, I’ll have an aspirin once every 5 years or so.
I think pharmacy grade opioids are far more dangerous, but they still seem to prescribe them to people like candy.
My wife’s past experiences with pot rendered her “dopey” and not in control of herself. She doesn’t want to ingest because nobody has told her that it would treat her pain w/o affecting her mentally. Perhaps I’m speaking to the wrong doctors but nobody to date has truly accepted pot as a definitive pain medication. That’s insane. Maybe you should consult another doctor about it. Regarding Spiritual Welfare
people will need to fill themselves with the love of Christ ( Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and substitute Jesus Christ for Sin. I was constantly attacked with lust because I worked in NYC and women from everywhere were there living, working, partying…tough to resist. So at my drop off train station at Penn Station I would go into St. Francis of the poor and meditate, sometimes stay for mass, poured out to the priests my lusts, my sins & past sins and that helped because those priests were compassionate and wise in their advice. They also fed most of the poor and homeless in the city. Needles to say, I was at peace there. They provided the ammunition to fight the Devil. Today, when I look into my wife’s face, I see only love and commitment to our marriage. The Catholics have it right to regard Marriage as a sacrument…that marriage commitment is eternal.
