Probably because he was a criminal.
What does the military say that his crime was? Why didn't the military court martial him?

I hope they run a third party candidate in 2020. That would be great!Wonder what the GOP Never Trumpers will do for a living now? People such as David French and many of the crew at National Review now appear to be just dirty. So glad that the Weekly Standard is gone forever and David Brooks is unemployed.

Globalist? Where did you come up with that?Don't you want them to vote Democrat? They are mostly globalists like you.

I am pro-peace along with the teachings of Jesus. How much money do you want to spend on the American War Machine. We already spend more than any country and as much as the next 9 countries combined (China, Russia, UK, Germany, India, etc.). How many deaths do you want?Because of your persistent anti-americanism. You are a poor man's Soros. How much money do you need?

How many wars did Jesus ask anyone to start in His name? When was He ever involved in politics? Who or what is the master of your life? You are misrepresenting Jesus. You have a distorted view of Christianity like Russell Moore in that you denigrate Christians and promote cultural marxism.

If Jesus did not involve himself in politics one way or the other, then that must mean, despite your extraordinary claims to the contrary, you are not following him when you do it. You make yourself sound like an utter hypocrite by going on as you do. Don’t you think it is high time you stopped? How many wars did Jesus ask anyone to start in His name? KenH, go back and carefully re-read what I wrote and you will see that you did not address it at all. Perhaps you missed the point because it was not directed at you?Jesus also did not involve himself in dating and marriage. That does not make one a hypocrite by dating and getting married.
As far as wars are concerned, the Bible tells us that we are corrupted humans and we have been ever since Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden. Christians being involved in the use of violence is problematic to me. We are all dependent upon the mercy of our gracious God. We all fall short of His glory so, so much during our pilgrimage on this earth. We can try to make decisions the best we can, but we know we will never be perfect on this earth; we have to wait for the new heavens and earth for that blessed state.

Then, in that case, you should have replied to him. You still can.I was adding my thoughts to those of FollowTheWay concerning war, as well discounting the idea that because Jesus didn't engage in a particular activity means that we should not engage in that particular activity.
Thanks. I admire him for bucking the SBC unBiblical association with the Republican Party. You sound like Russell Moore.
[Mat 7:3-5 KJV] 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.If Jesus did not involve himself in politics one way or the other, then that must mean, despite your extraordinary claims to the contrary, you are not following him when you do it. Yes, that is my point--that is what you are doing. You are ever claiming to be following Jesus through your own heavy involvement in politics, even though you also claim Jesus was not involved in politics. You furthermore question, on the basis that Jesus was not involved in politics, the discipleship (and relationship to Jesus, and thus salvation) of others who are also involved in politics. In doing this, you make yourself sound like a self-righteous hypocrite.[Mat 7:3-5 KJV] 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
